Oh, most likely our case is bogged down in NVC:(( Two weeks ago we got our case number - and that's all. The same status "At NVC" at CEAS all these days.

Now I know what to answer if someone gonna ask me what is needed to get K1 visa - endless patience)

God Bless all of u, who are waiting this magic words: "In transit", "Ready", "Administrative processing")/

This topic has been going on forever. It does take patience. I was one of the unfortunate ones to get held up at NVC. After it was released it said In transit and ready in a matter of 2 hours and I couldn't catch my breath because I wasn't ready lol. All you can do is sit and wait for them to do their thing and get your papers to the embassy. It will happen. You have your case number. work on other things that are in your control. police certificate passport shots if they are not current etc etc.. once they release it you will be prepared for your medical and set your interview. Good luck..

Thank you so this kind words.

I called there today, u know. And thay said that "it will take few more days, u know, 7-10 days, to get the instruction what to do before the intervew".

And also - I read this topic with big attention))))) - on the CEAS site I checked other cases that came and got their numbers at the same day. So, its 17 cases - 7 of them has status "Administrative Processing", and 10 cases (including ours) have the same status - At NVC. 10 (!!!!) I just wonder if it's kind of additional background check because it's russian cases... or may be it's still somewhere in the box and no one even opened them))).

Just... u know... waiting. Praying. What else we can do...

I.have.No.Words:((( Three weeks has gone - and our case is still "At NVC". Our case was approved 1,5 month ago, it's 21 days since our case came to NVC (16 working days). What kind of delay/AP is that? :crying:

Called them again today - and "Sorry, ma'am, ur case is still here, it might be send to the embassy shortly, but I can't tell exactly when". I wish I could find out if they at least started working with our case... Where is my In transit, Ready, Administrative Processing?:(((( OMG.

You will be out soon-I think mine was 19 days, I know how you feel. Try your hardest to relax. My interview is over and I'm in "AP" AGAIN longer than others. Nothing we can do but wait. Imagine all the people who started with the Texas Service Center!

Wouldn't that be terrible, Texas AND AP?

Cassis, hang in there. I AP is taking about 3-4 weeks these days, so it shouldn't be long.

They have got quicker at AP at NVC for sure, we were stuck there close to 8 weeks on our K1.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.
