Sorry think I posted in the wrong area before, so I'll try here. Anyone have their status go from Ready to Issued back to Ready again? What does that mean? This is for Amsterdam. Thanks.

It happens. Your country specific forum will be the right place to ask though.

OK.. Just as many of the post I have seen on here since 2008... I am frustrated beyond explanation. I am wondering if any one has tried to contact their congressman on the lag at the NVC for K1 in AP (I was told just in AP not AAP), and if that has helped. I have called almost everyday for 19 days and all I get is ,,,"in AP" for 2 weeks I could not even track my case online as saying "AT NVC".. now at least it is saying that, but 19 days and counting. I understand it was more than that back in the day but recently I have seen less. What if anything can I do. I don't want to wait 4 more weeks sitting on my hands. Are there any suggestions from people that have gone through this that could/might help. as mentioned congressman or ombudsman someone. They can not give me any additional information on the lag or when it will be over. Does that mean this can go on for months? this is my fear. Can they send my petition back to USCIS even though USCIS approved and said we are eligible to apply for the Visa. What is the best recourse at 19 days?

thanks for understanding my frustrations in advance.

Wait. lately it's been about 3 weeks. Your congressman cannot find out anything more than you can yourself. They can't speed AP up.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

This frustration is very well understood and experienced on here. We waited 30 days at NVC in AP. Did call my senator and it might be a coincidence but the petition was sent to Embassy a few days aftet I contacted the senator. Although when I called the senator office to thank them, they had no clue that the petition was already sent. So you do the math. No. They won't send it back to USCIS. No worries. Stay on course, pray and soon it'll say IN TRANSIT and you'll jump with joy :-)

There you go! Right on time too!

I know about this AP thing being painful. We we stuck there for nearly 2 months, and I missed Christmas in the USA because of it. I know we were there the longest at the time, not a record anyone else wanted. I think now as times have come down, nobody else will end up there so miserably long.

Thanks as well for posting in here, now when other people go to the NVC forum to see what is going on when they are stuck, they will see your posts, and your update in the pinned thread. Makes it easier for them to search for and find, all in one place.

Hope you are all set and ready to go for the next bit. Congrats :dancing:

Congrats! You are now the graduate of NVC AP program. No more checking CEAC 1000 times a day. Give your thumbs some rest. You'll be back to it right after interview. Good luck!
