Trillions thanks to Almighty Lord! In Transit! Thanks all for your help and support. And prayers for Malek and Hamza, too.

We are "In Transit" also, Wow, looks like we are on our way to the next step in this wonderful journey to be with our loves.

No worries, glad I could help.

Yes, the cricket is on to night, and while I can't watch from where I am, I can get it online on the radio :)

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

It does say that our interview date was provided by the National Visa Center. But when I look at the Embassy Info tab for Algeria, it indicates that the embassy will schedule the interview once all information is gathered and I believe the DS 160 must be completed prior to an interview date. But we will find out as time goes on. I'm just ready to begin building our live together.

Of course we shall keep you in our prayers, it is an honor to do so. Good luck in the future praying God will guide your steps.

NOA2 received March 19th. Now the paperwork is at the NVC. Three weeks ago, I called and got a case number (KEV)

Today, I phoned (4/30), so it's been there at NVC for almost 6 weeks now. I was told 'Administrative Processing'. She was polite and recommended I call NVC once per week. So that's it. It's a waiting period, while they do their thing.

First 3 letters are embassy, then 4 digits year, 3 digits are days in year when case# was assigned (counting from 1/1), last 3 digits are number of case assigned to particular embassy.

My case number has 598 for the days in year case # was assigned?????

How do I interpret that?

You're at almost the exact same stage as we are. NOA2 rec'd March 27, called NVC last night and it's still processing. Have you called again since April 30?

I just called- 'Administrative Processing'. That's all she said and she added that I will be contacted when that processing is complete. My wild guess is that they have requested info from Ukraine, like a document...I don't know. On the timeline data section, I've noticed nobody is jumping ahead of us yet, with a fiancee in Ukraine. And for us, NOA1 to NOA2 went so quickly! C'est la vie.

We're also stuck in AP since April 17th. :( I know you're a week longer, but seriously when will this end? Our I-129F was approved on March 27th out of CSC. Wouldn't you love to know what triggers these additional checks. People keep saying random, but I don't buy it 100%.

I was told it was random at the interview. I was also told the same thing in the FOIA request I filed.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.
