We have been in AP since May 16th.  No status updates except “At NVC”.  I call every 2 weeks to get the same response: “under AP with no time frame of when it will be done”

so back to the waiting game.

Am soooo soooo sorry.. I cannot imagine ur pain and frustration.. been in AP August 2nd and it’s making me depress ... hope soon for u

our case AT NVC since August, 20😭

I'm sorry  they have held you up so  long. I know first hand how miserable it can be to sit and wait.  Please come back and let us know what date they send your case on.

Received I-797 (NOA 2) on April 19, 2020. No response other than AP from NVC, last received on May 25th. Have not received a case number. Should I ask NVC to at least provide me with a case number?

You can, but they are not operating on a full staff and in most cases files are not being sent to the consulates yet.

Hi everyone, my NOA2 is expiring this coming July. However, my case is still stuck in NVC as the embassy in my country is not open yet. I have emailed the embassy in my country, but they told me they can't do anything cause they have not received my case yet. What should I do?
