Okay,

Which AP takes the longest, the one done at the Embassy locally, or the one done at DOS where you can track your AP on the ceac.state.gov website?

I cannot track my husband's AP on the DOS's website. It just says ready and it shows an update on June 12, 2013. I know I am very new into AP, 2weeks, but I have my questions and NVC/DOS could not answer my questions.

I asked what the difference between AP and AR was. The guy replied, "uhhh I think they are both the same."

I asked what is the different between AP/AR at the Embassy and AP/AR with DOS, he said, "uhhh the Embassy and DOS is the same, so I am guessing that they are both doing the same AP/AR."

Useless!!
