Hello fellow VJers.

I was just wondering how long after having the medical ppl have waited for the London embassy to contact them about there interview date, i had my medical on Tuesday just gone and they said the results will be with the embassy today (Friday). also how did the embassy contact you, was it via phone, email or snail mail post.

Hope to hear back from some of you guys soon.

Have you returned all the forms required, also? They expect receipt of the DS-2001 (and the rest of the forms, of course) AND the medical results before you'll hear more from them.

They send interview appointments by post.

Having been watching the timelines, folks seem to be getting interviews about 6-8 weeks after their medicals - but I'm assuming those people also returned their forms promptly. You should hear from the embassy about 3-4 weeks before the actual appointment.

Yeah, it's just a queue. All depends how busy they are. Keep an eye on other people with similar timelines as you - if they start getting appointment letters and you haven't had one yet, you could just call the embassy and see if they've scheduled you one. It's not unheard of for the letter to get lost in the post, after all.
