Hi guys - We have our GC interview tomorrow at noon and I am wondering what I would need to bring with to let them know our address will be changing. Is just a copy of our lease sufficient. Also I'm super worried this is going to get our green card lost. Anyone have similar problems?

May 11 '09 - Case Approved 10 yr card in the mail

June - 10 yr card recieved

Feb. 19, 2010 - N-400 Application sent to Phoenix Lockbox

April 3, 2010 - Biometrics

May 17,2010 - Citizenship Test - Minneapolis, MN

July 16, 2010- Retest (writing portion)

October 13, 2010 - Oath Ceremony

Journey Complete!

i am not sure of everything you may need, but it would be good to have on hand the AR-11 form.

AR-11 for the immigrant, and I-865 for the sponsor spouse. Your interviewer won't be able to do anything with it, they need to be sent in to the addresses on the instructions on those forms.

Officially at the end of the month. We're in the process right now. We are living in the same city just a different address so our center won't change or anything (which I think is good?). I was just wondering if I could kill 2 birds with one stone and hopefully get the green card mailed to the correct address!

Make sure that you give the interviewing officer a copy of the AR-11 so that she/he can update your address on your file and in the computer system... you will still have to mail the forms to the correct address but as the AR-11 does not change the info on pending claims the officer can do it at your interview and with luck you should get your greencard in the mail ok.... just make sure you update your address with the post office and put your name on your mailbox as your new postman will not know you yet...

I would suggest getting your mail forwarded to your new address just incase uscis doesn't change it in time. Just go to the post office to figure out what you need to do. I think you can fill out the form there.

Hi, I moved about a week before my interview, I did do a change of address form but only mail it about 2 days before my interview. At my interview our interviewer when over my information and he ask me about my address, when I told him we just moved he undated your address for us in the system. So don't worry to much about it, walk with a copy of your change of address form and you also may want to call the 1-800 and update your address with them to, but atleast at your interview you will find out what address they have on file for you. Good luck with your interview :)
