k2 visas on hand but misspelled mothers middle on annotation part

just got my kids visa today and noticed my misspelled middle name under the annotation part. it was supposed to be BENTIJABA, but was typed as bantijaba. would that cause any problem? should i have it corrected? thank you. we already have ticket to fly to usa on 23rd..but we wont make it coz of this issue on my kids visa annotation part.

I'm no pro, but time after time I've read that you do not want to attempt to travel with any error on a visa. The visa "lives" on after intended use (such as k1), so even if you get through immigration you will likely have to deal with it and have trouble doing so. If it were me, I'd rather get it fixed by the embassy and take a hit on non-refundable tickets. I don't know the entire process for getting it fixed, but IF you get it in process now, you might be able to make the current departure date. I know it's hard to hear it, but don't let your excitement ruin everything you've worked for. My 2 cents.

Take to USEM asap and have them fix it. Most times you'll get it on the same day

BUT.. The k1 visa is for a one time entry only. Does the k2 work the same way? If they can get through immigration cant they just establish residency? Since its not the childs name (only an error on the mothers middle name- pretty minor detail) i would go through with the travel plans.. If it gets rejected then youll be no worse off, youll just have to buy new tickets and try again. I would just make sure that childs visa gets checked fisrt at immigration so that you dont risk voiding out a k1 visa and not being able to enter.

i plan to send their visas back to us embassy manila via 2go courier tomorrow morning but 2go will deliver it on monday. i came back to philippines just to get my kids back to usa but was disappointed cause of their mistakes. i had this problem before during my interview lastyear and had them corrected , thought its already on their system. i just want assurance how long should it take for them to fix my kids visas since they still need to go to get sticker before they can travel.

i know its a minor problem only, cause every detaild on their visas are correct just the annotation part is the problem. i dont really know if its reallyt a big deal during the port of entry since all the papers i sent was correct spelling of my middle name.
