So 9-11 was not Bush's fault.. WOW!

I didn't think so at the time and I don't think so now. It happened under Bush but I have never blamed him for the attack.

Or you can stop a lot of people intent to do harm, but not all of them. Does your wife really appreciate all of your negative comments about her country of origin and indeed your own?

What?

I love Ukraine! I am in Ukraine now and enjoy every moment of our vacations here. We kept the flat in Donetsk just so we could visit more.

Try to keep up and stay on topic.

Here's the thing, this is like the seat-belt argument. Seat-belts save millions of lives but some JO always tries to justify not wearing his seat-belt because his cousin was in a wreck and "his seat-belt actually caused more damage". Yeah, I guess you win because you found one of the smaller anomalies in the greater statistical pool. Seat-belts saved a million lives last year but actually caused 20 deaths (made up statistics). Therefore, we shouldn't have seat-belts.

No. Here's the thing.

It is an invasion of our privacy and is unconstitutional. It has not a thing to do with seat belts.

The best thing was when Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said he didn't care that the government had his phone number, knew who he was calling, etc. Because it kept Americans safe.

He believes the government should have all the information they need/want to ensure the safety of innocents.

Except universal background checks for gun purchases. THAT would be too much. laughing.gif

These people are clowns.

Infractions of our rights are too much. Graham is wrong just as Bush was wrong and Obama said so...he ran on the basis of stopping this, and then expanded it.

People like Graham, Bush and Obama are WHY we have RIGHTS

Which is why I own a flat in Donetsk? Spend a couple months here? Visit the cities and museums and theaters? Enjoy the market, learned the language? Lived here? Worked here? We have seriously considered retiring here or living here at least half the year, and I would love to. If we don't, it is because Alla doesn't want to.

I did not meet my wife by internet. I met her in person while working here and living here...we were both on a business trip to Prague when we met. (Prague is awesome also before you start saying I hate Prague or something) #######!

Are you serious?

Look, if you cannot discuss the topic, at least try to be accurate in your personal attacks. Good grief.

Although Obama could have ended the oppression of Americans the day he took the oath of office, he has continued George Bush's snooping into our lives.

...

Typical Soviet style justification. It is for the Rodina...you would not understand

Your words.

That is because you don't have Bush derangement syndrome like some people here

That's odd. How can you love a country where there are so few firearms? Ukraine has 6.6 firearms per 100,000. That puts Ukraine at place 84 in the world. Canada, a place you "risk to go" because they have so few firearms there, has a gun ownership rate five times that of the Ukraine. It's unsafe there and you have to take a risk to go there because they don't have enough guns yet Ukraine where they have far fewer guns is a place you love and would retire to.

Try and keep your stories straight.

Of course, now that you've called him out on this, he will never speak of it again.
