I HATE the Daily Mail. It's main aim in life is to stir up sh!t.

Can't really agree with that, basically it tells it as it is and just how this Labour Government has lost the plot in a big way, from immigration to health to schooling and most disgustingly to health. the sooner they are got out, basically the better.

I reckon Anne Widdecombe would make a brilliant Prime Minister, she says it as it is and is not afraid of the politically correct brigade and unlike Labour she does not want to see this country in rack and ruin.

This article has just shown how ludicrious our immigration system and I for one am not happy to see my taxes being abused in this way.

The reader's comments at the end of the article were interesting. Taxpayers the world over hate being taken for a sucker because of their government's stupid policies.

I really doubt that the UK has to worry about being flooded with poverty stricken US asylees since it is an island and it presumably costs money to get there from the USA. Poor people in the USA already get pretty much the same dole as they could get as a UK asylee.

The USA has a much worst problem being connected on the same land mass to Mexico. The official policy of the Mexican government is to illegally dump its poverty and unemployment on the USA's doorstep to deal with.

America doesn't dump its poor on other countries as a matter of national policy.

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

The article was not just in the Daily Mail. It was in numerous British newspapers and on the BBC. I don't think any of them were "stirring up sh*t", I just think they were reporting the facts. I found it interesting and mildl amusing, that's all.

Our journey started in 2001 and it's still not over. It's been a rollercoaster ride all the way! Let me off - I wanna be sick!

I'm not implying that the paper is making it up. It isn't. BUT, the Daily Mail is well known for exaggerating stuff for it's own purposes in general.

I used to buy the Daily Mail. I bought it every day for years. Hate it now.

Just my £0.02 btw.

Only if she will be in charge of the little suitcase that launches the nukes. Bombs away!
