Specific question and I can't find a clear recent answer so here goes:

My wife is from Philippines. She came to the US about 5 or 6 years ago on an H1B visa. She attend the CFO, paid the fees, attended class, etc. She has the original certificate of completion for overseas worker.

About 18 months ago she renewed her passport while in the US at the embassy. No problems.

A little less than year ago we married and filed an AOS and has her CR status which was issued about 6 months ago.

She is going down for a visit for a few weeks for the first time on the new passport.

So the question is...does she need to go by and get a CFO sticker this trip in order to leave the Philippines? I have read some where a GC trumps the CFO yet on the CFO web page where she still must register being a spouse of a foreigner. Of course it also seems that the airport will want to see the sticker or turn her away almost no matter what.

Anyone out there know for sure based on a recent trip?

Finished!
