IV Bill, In Process Then Not Paid

The weird thing is that when I was submitting the the payment, the website had signed me out and it happened out of no where, so I'm not sure if it went through but when I had signed back in I was able to print receipt and coversheet, sooo idk what to do!!

My case is even weirder. I AOS was invoice and i paid. For two days it was shoing in process and after 2 days it said paid. Then i printed the cover shet and sent the AOS package and then a few days later it said not paid. When i checked my bank account, nothing was deducted so i paid the fee again. This time, the amount has been taken of my account and preccessing is complet per my online account. The NVC still says in progress. Not sure what is going on but i am not stressing about it. I already got lots to worry about.

I'm not prepared to pay again. I'll just call them again tomorrow but I did send an email to NVCInquiry with the receipts and bank statement.

They should just let us pay by credit card or bank draft. Something that makes immediate payment instead of futsing around for two to three days.

Some errata for you, that is pertinent to your case (and anyone else that this happens to)

The casefile has to arrive in the mailroom. No one checks the payment status at the mailroom.

The casefile has to move from the mailroom into the sorting room. Expect 3 days on this, minimum. No one checks payment status in the sorting room.

Once out of the sorting room, it goes into a queue for review. No one checks payment status when putting the packet in the queue. Figure 1 to 4 days for waiting in queue, minimum, with a max of 10 days.

Once the reviewer has it in front of them, the payment status is checked.

So, you have time, to sort this. I've never read of 'rejection' at NVC for either AOS or IV. Other words, other terms, but not 'rejection'.

The reason for the slight panic is that the IV package should arrive there today and I don't want it rejected.

Yep.

Just got of the phone with NVC, the Operator confirmed that:

1) They are having some issues with the payment portal and

2) That eventhough my file might have arrived yesterday, that it will take 10 to 20 days for it to be reviewed for payment and we shoudl have sorted out that issue by then.

On another note, my Wife was robbed in Ibadan in broad daylight yesterday. I am just happy that she's alive. The type of robbery she was involved in doesn't usually leave living victims. I really need to get her out of there soonest.
