mailing in packet 3 to Montreal

This may be an obvious questions but....

When you mailed in your packet 3 to Montreal did you just put all your forms, checklist, cover letter, copy of passport biographic page and passport photos in a large envelope and then put that in a Xpresspost mailer?

I addressed a large envelope with my MTL case number on it, and plan to just pop it into a larger Xpresspost mailer and address that with my Montreal case number on it as well.

Sound ok?

Also- for the passport photos, how did you send those? Did you write your name on the back? Put them in something???

I wrote my name and number in pencil on the back of the passport pictures and put them in a ziplock baggie so they would not get lost. Also it's really good to do a cover letter listing everything you are sending in the package, make a copy of your package before you send it so you know what you sent.

I wrote our case number on all forms (left margin), behind the photos and secured everything with paper clips. Photos were also put in a ziploc bag to make sure they wouldn't stick to anything else and/or get lost and I wrote my name and case number on the back. Make a copy of everything before you mail it and bring that copy with you to your interview.

US citizen since April 2016

ROC completed April 2014

AOS from K1 completed February 2012

keep in mind it's a holiday of some sort in MTL today... st jean baptiste day, so i'm not sure if the embassy is open/fully functioning. :)

I am just waiting for my packet 3 to be logged and waiting fr my packet 4 to be sent out by the Embassy so that I can also schedule my interview.. Checking the date and it says in there available interview dates is after 76 days.. yikes.. that would be in november..hope to get an earlier date.. waiting is just so frustrating. :(

Thank you very much.. I will really do that. His petition will only be valid for four months and kinda worried and hoping I will have my visa issued before his petition expires on 24th of Nov.. :(Just lot of frustrations and everything.) My fiancé is also aggravated cos he have not received the NOA2 hard copy yet and its already one month...

I don't think that the petition expiration date matters once you have an interview booked.... Anyone else?!

He should call USCIS make sure they have the correct address on file and ask for a new NOA2.
