** I sent notarized copy of marriage certificate that was in urdu, and english translation notarized by magistrate office and local laywer office at the city court.

NVC is saying that they need original documents. When I asked them to eloborate they said it should be from National Registering Authority

I believe they must be reffering to NADRA. I would appreciate if someone who has expereinced this issue or knows exact answer can guide me please !

Should I get english and urdu documents of marriage certificate that is then stamped by union council. Also copy of urdu original certificate then siged / stampped by union council should be sufficent ???

Please help if you do know the exact answer that can help me here as I am very confused at the moment

Both the birth cert and marriage cert must be originals or certified copies.

Certified Copes does not mean notarized, it basically means originals, meaning the people at the gov't that make them need to issue you a "copy"

What exact that pertains to in your own country, sorry I can't help with.

When you got married you should have gotten a marriage certificate in Urdu. That marriage certificate should have been registered with the Union Council stamped then returned to you. That is what they mean by original.

They don't want a copy of the marriage certificate they want the one you signed on your wedding day. The embassy will return it to you after you have your interview.

Not the notarised copies.

Originals .

Birth certificates from union council of your area and marriage certificate =

Firstly nikal Nama in English and Urdu and ALSO a marriage certificate. It looks like the birth certificate only. And it contains the bride and groom's details in both english and Urdu. That's how my certificates are
