Hang in there. We got ours after 1 month and 7 days. You can also contact them via email, they'll send you a letter once the case number is ready. You can use that email to present during medical and interview just in case the NVC letter won't arrive in your fiance's mailbox. I'm sure it will arrive soon. God bless. :)

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart

and lean not on your own understanding;

in all your ways submit to Him,
and He will make your paths straight.

In GOD we trust. † = ♥

Why does everyone here always complicate things when they aren't complicated? You just wait for that email and that's that....There really isn't so much preparation involved to be reading about it for hours and days. Just wait, you'll get the email soon then you schedule your medical. You're not going anywhere before your interview anyway so just relax....

The point is you can get things done faster, get case complete faster, get interview faster.

It's your choice if you choose to wait and wait and sit around, but let me tell you something, my case was complete 5/17 and you know what I never received via snail mail? Anything. I never received ANYTHING.

So I would still be sitting here since April waiting for a letter telling me to turn in the choice of agent info.

Sorry I misread the initial post. I thought he/she already had case complete at NVC....So I'm not sure why he/she is worried about getting the medical at this time.

Hi! If your case number is already available, you can set an appointment for your embassy interview without the letter from NVC. You can go and pay the visa fee at any BPI bank near you then call the US embassy, you will be asked by the appointment system regarding DS 160 which is not needed, just say YES then when you get a live person say you want to make an appointment for K1 visa, they will ask you if you receive a letter from the embassy just say YES. After the interview is set, you will receive a confirming email of date and time of your interview. You should print it out and bring it to your medical exam.

We already got the NOA2 letter of approval on June 4. We are still waiting for the case number. We were given instructions by the agency we hired Filipina Fiance Visa. That's why I know what to do. Anyway, it's up tp you if you want to wait for NVC's instructions. It's just a matter of saving time anyway.

I'm a little confused by your post. Why would you talk about not wanting to wait, and being impatient about moving things along, but then not want to heed the advice of people who can help you get things done faster? unsure.png You lost me there.

None of that works for an IR-1 visa.

Teague is chasing an IR-1 visa.

Why would you give her advice pertaining to a K-1 visa?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

I agree..I am in this site to get a second opinion and to increase my little knowledge about the process. In the end, its still my choice what to do..whether i will do what other members say or do it my way. From reading lots of posts, i found out that if this works fine to other members, it is not a guarantee that it will work for me too. So, we still have a "go" to every move we will do..But, i was thankful to hear every opinions and i guess nobody have the right to insult someone and be rude just cause they did not do what they think is right for you...
