I've contacted my Congressman, sent complaint to Ombudsman. What next???? No approvals yesterday from VSC. It appears that since they transfered many to TSC, Those of us left are forgotten. How long will they leave us on life support???? We need more people to complain to ombudsman.

Can anyone tell me how they know if they are transferred to TSC or not? Also, where do you find out how many are approved each day by the different Service Centers? I see everyone talking about what gets approved and from what months but cannot find that info anywhere.

If you were transferred you would know. You would've received a letter, email or text by now notifying you of the transfer.

Everybody transfered so far has recieved a letter from USCIS. They transfered I-129f filers from early DEC to mid JAN. To see approvals, click on header " Immigration Timelines" once there look at upper Right hand side of page. There you will find " Igors List" click on it. You can filter by service center, approved, unapproved or all petitions.

Ok, I checked the Igor List and we are not on any of them, VSC, CSC or TSC. My NOA1 was on 15 FEB 2013. Now I am more confused than ever.

With an NOA1 date of February 15th and the fact that you have not received a letter indicating your petition was transferred, it is clear that your petition has not been transferred. You are still at VSC.

Your point is mute. Read the whole complaint. Old Chinese proverb: It is better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you are a fool, than to open and remove all dought.

Hey, if it makes you feel better to call and complain to your congressman about the "injustice" being perpetrated by the USCIS....go for it. But that's all you're doing...making yourself feel better.

Honest advice here....setting realistic expectations might help you feel better in the long run.

And it's spelled "doubt". So I think maybe you should take your own advice.

Contacting Congressmen is not just to make yourself feel better. We contacted ours at 3 months, and we got approved a few days later. Sure it might have been impatient of us, but it worked. We didn't expect it to work, we just wanted more pressure on Vermont. If everyone just sits back and doesn't take any action, Vermont will think it's fine to keep people waiting longer than they should.

I doubt contacting your congressman had any impact on your approval at all as ours has been enquiring constantly about ours for a month, it was simple luck of the draw and probably to put VSC closer to a "5 month" timeframe. Contacting a congressman isn't simply to make someone feel "better" though, as without complaints, no resolution happens. If CSC filers didn't kick up such a stink earlier in the year, I doubt CSC would be processing anywhere near as well as they are now. The more complaints VSC/TSC get, the quicker they'll sort things out to get people off their case, especially from politicians.
