That is why I dont want to call them right now. I am in the 30 days period, but if I am reaching to 40-50 days period and still no update then I would call. That is my insights!

11/22/12 = Filed I-751 to remove conditions

11/30/12 = Got NOA1 (I-797C)

12/23/12 = Got the bio-metrics done (USCIS Status: Pending)

Waiting...

No it says in the blue paper it takes at least 14 days to process, but if you didn't hear from us within 60 days call. That does not mean they will take 60 days. Since they sent the RFE that means they start to process the case. Note: The processing times on the website said 6 months for the whole case so that means my case regardless of RFE or not, is out of processing time because it has been over 6 months and they have to look at your case. RFE does not have processing time. Plus I don't trust them it could pass 60 days and they can tell you they never received the RFE and your case is denied for not responding during your timeframe. Do you really want to take any chances? At least they may just respond and tell me they did receive the RFE response and at least I would have the proof that they did receive it because it is not showing online.

I agree with you. They said that my deadline for responding back my RFE is July 24th. So at least I want an update before that. Your saying is: RFE does not have a processing time. That is why we can wait too. But we dont want to miss the deadline for responding back the RFE, which in my case is July 24th.

Hope this makes sense.

You should call if it makes you feel any better. I am 5 weeks like i said and NOTHING!!!. 5 weeks!!!!!. Crazy!. I will just wait and hope ffor the best. Hope i don't reach 60 days and nothing. If that is the case i will call them again and put a service request. But for now, just sitting patiently (not) and waiting ...

At this point, it doesn't really make a difference whether thy respond or not, i am traveling without a problem and i will file for Naturalization in November as soon as my window opens.

Maybe you are not worried. However, I called USCIS today and got some info. Tier 1 guy said that I should get something by 30 days. Some kind of notification in the mail (that the RFE is received). I also put up a request for a call back from Tier 2 Immigration Officer and wants his opinion. Its not about 4 weeks or 5 weeks. Its about due diligence regarding your own permanent residence in United State of America.

I just got an email from USCIS that my case has been approved and my card production was ordered!!!!. I am sooo happy!!!. And now i can breathe a sigh of relief!!.

BTW, it was not that i didnt do my due diligence. It wa sthat i was not worried, since i am married and all is legitimate, so i figured: however long it takes, it will take.

But now my card is on production!!! I will be relieved when i have it in my hand!

Dec 2012 filer and RFE was received 25 May. Reply sent 31 May and we received approval notification yesterday. Website hasn't worked properly for the last 3 weeks at least (that's the forst time we checked the site) as initial review was all it ever said. After receiving the approval via mail yesterday we went back to the site and it showed no status, but in a text message underneath the status line it said her green card was mailed yesterday as well.

Kind of weird, but we're done until citizenship filing in November. BTW, I think Vermont appears to be getting very aggressive with the RFE's

So I put up a service request on 28th June (Friday) for the decision. Here is what I got in my email today:

Your petition/application is still pending consideration. We regret that we are not able to give you a timeframe for when we will complete the review of your petition/application.

What a bummer!!!!
