I know that every time I read that an noa 2 got approved I wished they would state first was it an expedite or not. This was not an expedite. I am still in shock I logged in 3 times earlier tonight and it was initial review. So right before i am going to go to sleep I decide to check once more. To my shock I logged in and I saw a post decision and I was having a flash back to the movie Flash dance. I then began to do a rather emabarrassing dance that displayed my utter lack of cooridination. Ok did I just say that. Ok I will deny saying I said that smile.png So then I call my fiance but she isnt' at her desk. So I ask the person who answered could you please find her it's very important. She was a bit annoyed that I was like insisting she find her but I couldn't help myself I had to tell her. So she answers the phone and I said it's me. I asked her to step outside and said you might want to sit down. I then said baby! baby! guess what! we got approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. She was in total shock and then she logged in to see for herself and then she was speechless. The crazy thing is we were literally talking yesterday about booking flights to see each other because it was so hard being apart.

As many have done before I want to give back and hopefully this helps anyone currently putting together their packet. Our notebook included 178 pages. We used a plastic cover and placed the check in the very front. Inside page one was a table of contents. We perhaps went overboard but we placed every single page in plastic inserts. In the front we placed all the key required documents. For passport photos we placed them in a ziplock bag and then in the insert. For photos to establish the relationship I found plastic photo album inserts and used those to hold the photos. We front loaded our application with hotel receipts, tickets from events, all receipts, cell phone records, email records, birthday cards, airline tickets, not only my passport with stamps but her's as well and anything else we could find that helped.

I want to thank everyone who came before us who busted their tails to contact their congressmen and senators. I want to thank all the people who spent countless hours making graphs and clicking through hundreds of wac numbers to get us statistics. It was your reports, your letters and your persistence that allowed our application to be processed so quickly. To those who have not yet been approved my thoughts and prayers go out to you. I know how hard this wait can be but I can't even fathom what it would be like to have waited as long as some of you have. Everyone of you deserves to be with the one you love and I hope in some small way maybe this put a smile on your face.
