Miangela as I posted yesterday t 80% of the time they just ask original documents such as original birth certificate, passport, marriage certificate, divorce decree(if the alien has one) and that is it, but there are 20% of adjudicators that want to see proof of bonafide marriage such as commingling finances and commune residence, they don't ask questions about the abuse.

Someone I was trying to understand your timeline. You said you received a RFE in June, started therapy in July and sent RFE back in August. I thought they give you only 1 months to send RFE back. And my other question is can you start a therapy when they are asking you in RFE? Because I was thinking you need to provide them evidence from the time before you send I-360.

I would very much appreciate your response and congrats on your approval!

Bambi5 / Cielo,

I know this makes so much pressure. I booked my flight tickets for Oct as I thought I would have my EAD and AP by then but nothing till now and I dont know what to do cray5ol.gif. Someone here got her EAD/ AP in 2 weeks and I guess even Raga Shanti got her EAD in 2 weeks. Right @Raga Shanti ??

Donehere, it took one month to receive my advance parole but I filed EAD and AP separate, first EAD which took 3 weeks and then AP. I don't know why i did not file for them at the same time but anyways I was able to use already my AP and did not have any problems on coming back. When did you file for EAD/AP?

Sandraj, dunno what to believe anymore bc my lawyer told me there will not be an interview bc they asked all the questions on the I 485 form in January when I had my initial interview but there was no decision on that day..

Thank you Lank ...!

You read right. ......I started therapy after the RFE. On the paper it was stated that I had 84 days to send the RFE back , so almost 3 months I would say. They wanted more proofs. My case was mainly mental abuse and extreme cruelty.

I found an extremely kind psychologist who gave me sessions and drafted a great report .I was right away put on medication ( still am actually) after being diagnosed with anxiety and major depression... I had Sandra review the report before sending it back to Vermont.

So I will say , yes you can start after I guess , because that is exactly what I did.

Good luck to you and best of all.

Take care.

I appreciate you experience sharing, mine is also based on mental abuse. I've been waiting for 15 months and still don't have a decision made. Hoping it will happen soon. Thanks again!
