Cc1988 congrats! Hey can you tell us your experience in details,how did the officer treat you?

he was so nice he was an older guy. My sister came with me and he let her in the office with me during the appointment. He asked for my birth certificate and translation. My ID passport and workers permit. Then he asked yes or no questions like ever been arrested ever been deported things like that (simple) then he asked if I was still married just to verify the information that he had. And then he stamped it with approved! I was out in literally 5-10 min.

So I am happy to announce I got approved yesterday at my I485 appointment! I could not be happier... Now time to enroll for school. Thanks to god an my parents that help along the way. Good luck to all the other people out there waiting . I know god is in our favor!

Dec 09th 2010 I360 APPROVED Yeey!!
Dec 12th 2010 Approval Notice sent (screeeech!!moved and forgot to update my home address!! aiyaiyai)
Apr 12th 2011 Application for action on an approved petition sent
May 2nd 2011 Duplicate approval notice received
Sep 9th 2011 I485 and I765 applications sent
Sep 14th 2011 I797C NOA received
Sep 16th 2011 ASC Biometrics Appointment Notice received
Oct 14th 2011 Biometrics Done
Oct 25th 2011 EAD Card production ordered

Nov 14th 2011 I 485 Case transferred to NBC to speed up processing.what does this mean???

waiting.....the whole year of 2012 passes by without a word!!

Apr 17th 2013 I get a letter asking for a I 864W form to complete I485 processing and its orange in colour

Sep 10th 2013 I 485 Interview

I wasnt approved that day, was given another date after the IO requested documents i had that were not very clear to her to be notarized by the court.

Oct 4th 2013 Went back to the IO with the requested documents and she said the decision will be mailed to me.

Nov 1st 2013 I got my I797C USCIS Notification Letter of Approval of my I 485

Nov 8th 2013 Green card got mailed to my address

11.12.13 received my 10 year green card. Thank God. Journey Complete

I have a question for some one that can help me today I have 5 week that I was send my I-765 EAD it is a normal time, also my biometric appoiment for my I-485 come firts that my EAD, that is normal.

can you please tell me how many week you had waiting for the approved your EAD?

Sandaraj or any expert on vawa,

I have following question and I am new to this forum.

Question: If i have approved Vawa I-360 then Can i marry to my girlfriend as she is in UK and she is forcing me to get married soon because it all over 2 year since we engaged and my vawa just got approved and long distance is not working good and i dont want get second chance and she is not my ex-wife to be clear.

I read that I can remarry after I-360 approval and i cant remarry with my ex-wife(abuser) otherwise it will revoke my I-360 in AOS.

Your Form I-360 will be denied if you re-marry prior to the approval of the Form I-360. Remarriage after the Form I-360 has been approved will not affect the validity of the petition.

IM IN THE SAME BOAT! i got my APPROVAL for my EAD today thanks to SANDRA! (sent i765 and i485 on august 14 and today september 6 got approved for EAD)

But i got biometrics appointment for i485 ..... im confused... idk if thats normal soo...

do i have to wait after my biometrics to get my CARD or ... ehhh so confused. im just glad it got approve! GOOD LUCK! stay positive!

08/ 14/ 2013- filed I485 I765, waiver and all (THANKS SANDRA)

08/ 27/ 2013- Appointment for biometrics for i485 on 09/18/2013

09/06/2013 - EAD i765 approved

09/07/2013- CARD ordered

I had my EAD approved in 3 weeks at the beginning of August and my appointment for biometrics was two weeks later. Biometrics appointment has nothing to do with EAD.
