Hello everyone,

A little while ago, I posted that I have an upcoming interview, it's in 6 days. While am so grateful to God and excited, after waiting since 2009, am now walking on pins and needles.

I have all my documents ready except for proving Bonafide marriage.

Well I can prove it practically, since we have been married since 2005 and we have a child together and We are still married but I ran away in 2010 after I could not take the abuse any longer. He withdrew his support that led to my denies Gf application.

We lived in his parents house and he has no income, his mother "babies" him and he hasn't worked a day in his life since he brought me and my children here. Anyway, the point of all this is we have no joint documentation of anything besides our child, which I recently found out is not proof enough of Bonafide marriage and so am here in a dilemma and am really scared, because I have learnt they will deny you if you can't proof Bonafide marriage.

When I left he had hidden all documentation from me and I had to call my country to get dupilcates of our marriage certificates and my children's certificates as well.

What do I do? What else can I show that I didn't just give this man 9 years of my life and only came to America after we were already married for 3 years and we had already had out baby before I even stepped into American soil.

I will appreciate all ideas that you guys might provide me with.

Apr 17th 2013 I get a letter asking for a I 864W form to complete I485 processing and its orange in colour

Sep 10th 2013 I 485 Interview

I wasnt approved that day, was given another date after the IO requested documents i had that were not very clear to her to be notarized by the court.

Oct 4th 2013 Went back to the IO with the requested documents and she said the decision will be mailed to me.

Nov 1st 2013 I got my I797C USCIS Notification Letter of Approval of my I 485

Nov 8th 2013 Green card got mailed to my address

11.12.13 received my 10 year green card. Thank God. Journey Complete

If you have absolutely nothing to be able to prove a bona fide marriage then it's unlikely your VAWA can be approved.

There is circumstancial evidence and there are documeneted evidence.. Sometimes.It may seem like the odds are against you but I refuse to believe considering all these factors that your case will be denied. I cant believe that.Have faith and pray , sometimes it takes that one Officer who feels for you and does what seems fair and right.GO with God my friend

Hypnos, this will be an I 485 interview not VAWA.

It's not usually possible to have an approved VAWA without some kind of proof of bona fide marriage, so if it satisfied VSC (to get the I-360 approved) then it will hopefully satisfy the IO adjudicating the I-485 also.

It has indeed been a struggle, you have no idea. My mum passed away in 2011 and you can imagine the pain and anguish I have been living in, not to mention the fact of the mental exhaustation I suffered in the hands of a man I trusted!!

I have come this far and victory indeed shall be mine.

God!!! made man, man ddnt make God. Devine supernatural intervention in your situation .God will deliver. You will be ok in Jesus name..I feel that strongly.some folks may think different because of statistics. I have had supernatural intervention in my situation so i know what im talking about. When is your date?
