Can anyone help me out regarding taking classes after VAWA approval but before the interview date, is there a way I can pay resident tuition and apply for FAFSA? If yes, which paperwork would I submit to the school?

Since, I don't have anymore prima facie, I don't know if it is possible, and I really want to take classes this semester.

Was just thinking this morning that despite proving bonafide marriage with Vawa and getting the i360 approve, you still have to prove bonafide marriage for AOS. A more intricate investigation goes into your i485 app.

Meaning we need to provide the same documents/pics etc etc again???

From what I learnt so far it does only in the instances of you re-marrying or re-uniting with your abuser or maybe some information they gathered on your case.

Hi am new to this web site however I have been research ing on my journey to file my 1-360 it's a very big decision for me scary and emotional but I need the your help and knowledge my situation is verbal abuse been constantly put down spitefullness and just constantly on edge as soon as the car pull up I am literally a slave to a drunk with mood swings I feel like garbage to someone that I met in 2006 who was really a savior to me and my daughter he treated like gold and that's what got she had s real father figure I entered the us without inspection so help me out a lot and he loved us I moved in with him in 2010 and it was when I got to know the real person I can testify to the fact that u will never really know a person till you live with them we have been married for a year and a half and he was ok for like two months then back to the abuse he actually started to offer me the remote for the tv and sometime let run the air condition when he leaves for work I feel less than a person and when I say anything he say people have it worst I could put u out who gonna pick u up with no papers I don't know if I have a case but love betrayed me and feel I am not living I am at his beck and call he drinks then curse then demand sex when I am crying and upset I feel like throwing up my daughter say leave but go where I just cry and just wait for more abuse if I go anywhere I am timed if he ring the phone and I don't pick up he check the family locater to see where I am at and the bill to see if anyone else called and if I pick and leave message that my clothes will be outside his kids live there and I am so ashame they them self don't understand his behavior that man use treat me so good over the years that I just can't beleave he got in this corner like a rat there is just so much when he met I was living in this ladies house I took care of her but she died and he help me but everyday I am like a child living with a evil parent he check my under wear I just try not to piss him off but no good he constantly spit me start argument I feel like start running and never stop can s my one advise me please I need help

Are you married to him? You don't mention but I hope you are because it is a requisite to be married to your abuser. Go ahead apply and please do not use your address as mailing address!!! Look for a shelter!!! Request a restraining order.

I have a weird question: i just received my receipt notices on my i765 EAD,

i know i will have an appointment with them to get my biometrics, my question is i was detained by ICE and then released , no court date nothing yet. But when i was with ICE they took my fingerprints and picture. Will they connect it with the biometrics. IVE BEEN LOOKING ONLINE FOR ANYTHING SIMILAR BUT NOTHING.

Destiny the first thing you need to be is in a safe place. Call domestic violence hotline and find a shelter for victims of domestic violence and do not even tell him you are leaving ok. In the shelter you will have the help of social workers, counselors and they may refer you to some free legal aid or i can help you with your Vawa ok. If you fear for your life i recommend you file a restraining order against him as well. Change your phone number as soon you leave, Cut off all communications with him. Do not answer emails, do not keep in touch with any of his friends if he is in your facebook delete him and all his friends as well.DO NOT MENTION to anyone that you are in the shelter besides your family back home and please tell them not to discuss about that with anyone.

In order to file Vawa you need to have a psychological evaluation and some sessions of therapy,The shelter will offer counseling but counselor cannot provide psychological evaluation, you have to pay for that.You can try to find some psychologist willing to do the therapy and evaluation for free.One girl here last month met a psychologist and he felt sorry for her situation and he provided therapy and evaluation free, you should search about it.Go for therapy after 5./6 sessions then you will have a evaluation ready to submit with your case.

Get your police report( all places you live in the U.S) and write your own affidavit telling the whole mental abuse suffered (9/15 pages).if you need help me let me know.
