They had to have and mixed up previos application with present orrrr forgot your case and sent a standard template instead of altering the language.. Im sure its an honest mistake. Dont worry of not having an attorney with you . You will be fine..

"Call her husband!!" for what??????? People have been denied a greencard or rather approved and then denied the green card because of making back with the abusive spouse... im getting more lost with your advice..

Fyi they can't deny the petitioner the green card because they reconciled the basis of the approval is based on an abuse that occurred not you divorcing our leading your husband. Lost of ppl for vawa vj has reconcile with their husband and was still approved so that's a total false statement and I discussed that with my lawyer back in April and he showed me some documents that says that they can't deny aos soley because they couple reconcile. It also prove bonafide marriage not saying that someone should reconcile for that purpose but it do.

Google it. There is a girl from part 2 that went in and told them the truth. Immigration not stupid so they know what they are doing. They know that some ppl will reconcile they just don't want the petitioner to remarry While they are in process and so on. My lawyer said if the abuse seek therapy and is remorseful and you wanna work things out it make your case stronger and prove that your intention upon marriage was not solely for immigration benefits and that's ppl have problems when they go to interview because they lie and try too deceive the officers.

I have to agree with Anajnic Sandra specifically mentioned that being grounds for your denial of your AOS..... Approving you when you've reunited or remarried your abuser is defeating the purpose of VAWA in my opinion.

haha this is hilarious but still, why bother making sure he will know...after all your journey and after all that you went thought, the last thing you need is get in touch with your abuser...

Second,, you don't need a lawyer to go to your interview, it takes less than 10 minutes and the lawyer cant talk for you.
