There is no way to get his father's name.

I did request to VAWA unit when i Filed VAWA and they sent me RFE a couple days ago

They said they weren't able to find out which doesn't make sense to me.

Hello Sandranj , I have a question. I came here on a K1 visa and was married to my husband for 4 years and I was abused .I got my green card through vawa as he did not file for adjustment of status even though I came here on a K1 visa through him. My question is I went to apply for food stamp at the county office and I was asked if my coming to the USA was through sponsorship which is yes and the lady told me if I qualify for food stamps the county will go after him to pay back the money they will give me for food stamps saying he signed the affidavit of support when I came here through K1 .But I didn't submit an affidavit of support when I was filing for vawa.How true is it that they will go after him? I gave VAWA, his full name, date of birth, where he was born, copy of his SSN, and his criminal records.

He was born in US army base in Washington State. As my knowledge, in order to get his birth certificate, i need both his father and mother's name. but i only know his mother's name.

and HE doesnt even know his father's name either.

Recently, I had found his Offender's ID and DL number on his court documents. I wonder if these can help me to find out if he's USC.

icyluv he is not obligated to pay anything back to the Government because your green card was approved through Vawa, it means your sponsorship was waived, you got your GC without having a sponsor.

Thank you so much for the help .That means even the I-134 he filed for me through k1 visa process is considered void ? Sorry if I am asking too much just scared that if they go after him .He may come after me as I don't want to have anything to do with him after what I went through.

but it's so far away and i dont even know what county he was born so i don't think i could fly there to get one. but i appreciate your help.
