Faithkeeper, my I360 got approved in early april and in june my case was transferred, july 1st biometrics and today my interview. total of 4 months.

Okay thanks for the information I pray I get through just as quickly.

Just an update guys, sent all my docs for vawa aug 1 2013. Then yesterday got a letter saying they recieved it and everything. I sent i360 and i485 together Also the one for biometrics. I can send a copy of the recieved notice and file i765 right? To be able to work? How long will it take usually?

Congratulations on all the approvals!!! Im very confident all the cases here on visa journey will be approved. Hold on tight guys. Hold on just a little longer.

I think the wating time is different in every state. Like in my case it took me about 2 years and half to get my greeencard without biometrics renewal. It was weird because most of you on this journey has been asked to renew so I was waiting even after my interview for them to ask before sending the GC, but they never did. I guess they deal with every cases differently. Like some takes longer, some shorter.....??? Doesn't make much sens

finally26122012 Vawa Unit supposed to take 72 hours to answer any congress person request,but usually they take between 7/10 days, then just hang in there and soon you will find out what's going on with your case ok.Keep us posted.

Hi everone!!!

I wanna ask if anyone in here knows to get your spouse's birth certificate without having his/her parents name or his passport?

I got RFE and it was for to prove his citizenship.

I couldn't get the BC cuz my spouse was raised with his own mother and step-father since age of 3 so he doesn't even know his own father's name. I know his mother's and step-father's name tho.

i know that he had traveled out of country when he was very young(6yr-old) so he much have a passport but since then he never travel, not even out of the state where he lives.

Is there any other way to prove that he's USC?

It's such a nice day in PA, hope eveyone in Visa Journey family having a great day.

08/2012 Discussed my immigration issues with a lawyer

08/2012 Started gathering evidence

11/2012 Paid my deposit (forgot to sign documents)

01/2013 Signed documents

02/19/2013 Vsc received my application

02/22/2013 NOA mailed out

My lawyer has a prima facie never collected it Caz I don't need any benefit at this time.

03/05/2013 EAD mailed out (actual ead date, it will expire 03/04/2014)

03/08/2013 Lawyer received biometrics for 3/17/2013 (day after my edd, [expected due date] did early walking 3/12/13)

03/29/2013 Card in hand (lawyer received it abt a week earlier but I delivered so was unable to collect it)

Waiting for my i360 approval but I'm in no rush (good things come to those who wait)

8/14/13 i360 approved. :)

10/8/2013 aos interview. .. approved :)

10/9/2013 status adjust to lpr and welcome package mailed out.

8/15/2013 I484 transfered to local office. :)
