thanks Sandranj: I dont know why WSP put my US citizenship there, nobody ask them to do that, also I think VSC know I am in my home country, because they sent NOA for my advance parole to my parent's address where I live now. I think my immigration case is deadlocked in VSC just like peas and carrots.

"if you want to know the truth, can you handle the truth?" I donot see anything is under my control for my US immigration, just keep finger crossed, God will solve this problem, donot worry about it.

I enter usa for last time with my tourist visa in May 2007 and I was illegal until a few days ago when I my I-360 was approved.

When I submit my residence I-485 application. I can apply for a travel permit or parol I-130 to travel to my country .

My paternal grandmother celebrate her 100 years in December of this year.

I can travel or wait to have my green card and I can go under the I-485 status adjustment with a travel permit I-130.

I always believe patience is a virtue because theres no telling what officer will do when you are trying to return on advance parole. You have waited this long , just hang in there , besides I belive you will have had greencard by December.Hang in there, dont risk it

cielo 14 legally speaking you should not travel abroad, not even with advance parole granted,if you were unlawful present in the United States, but In Matter of Arrabally and Yerrabelly, the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) held that an individual who leaves the United States temporarily pursuant to a grant of AP will not trigger the bar on reentry to the United States even if s/he was unlawfully present for lengthy periods prior to the departure, but read here what the Uscis ombdusman says about it.

"Travel Warning Regarding Unlawful Presence".

Hello people!

I just got an RFE for Residence and Good faith marriage. I filed May last year. My lawyer is working on the RFE's now. He plans to turn it in before June 25th. How long do they (Vermont) decide if you're approved or denied? I'm getting nervous because I really want to go home next June for my sister's wedding. I hope I'll be able to go home by then. The waiting is such a pain. But just have to be a little more patient I guess. God Bless everybody!

The USCIS site says that VSC is currently taking 13.1 months to adjudicate I-360's for VAWA. Several of our members here have gotten their approvals within 11 - 12 months of filing. I'll estimate approval in about 60 days from when they receive your response. Sandranj has previously said 45 - 60 days. Did your lawyer submit forms I-765 and I-485 along with your VAWA application?

July 2011 - Applied for VAWA with I-765 and I-485 with fee waivers - receipt date Aug 4, 2011
August 10th 2011 - Received NOA's for all 3, fee waivers accepted
August 26th 2011 - Received EAD
Early July 2012 - Re-applied for EAD based on pending I-485
Mid July 2012 - Received NOA for 2nd EAD
August 1st 2012 - Received EAD
Silence for a few more months
October 26th 2012 - I-360 approval
November 19th '12 - Case transferred
May 2013 - Received interview notice

June 2013 - Interview (approved)

Permanent resident since June 2013

Hi Everyone. I'm new here and I need to get you advice.

I entered us on J-1 visa, and I overstayed about a year. I met my husband in april 2012, we were really happy, he moved to my place in couple months. but he been traveling a lot cuz his job. I really really love him, and i couldn't see my life without him. In the begging of our relationship, he been nice, he was taking me to dinners, places, he spent lot of time with me.

In December we got married. We filled papers in January. everything started happening after our wedding. He beat me up 4 times, but i never call the police, my neighbors we calling our landlord at night cuz we were fighting a lot. I was really scared. He is really abusive person, I even scared look at his picture... He gave me so much pain and used me. HE lied to me, he promised that he will buy little house for us, but it was all lie, he used me for my money, he took all the money that my dad give to us for our wedding to buy a car. He's on drugs and drinks a lot. He raped me several times while drunk. He beat me up before christmas and left for holidays with other girls, were posting picture with her on fb, but I was forgiving him everything, I love him so much. he didn't allow to takl to my mom on Skype. He could leave me for weeks and I coudnt hear from him. he would always turn off his phone and i would sit at home and cry.

I lost my work cuz he was beating me up so much and I had bruises all over me (I'm a model) and client didn't wanna work with me cuz of that. I'm scared of him so much, I know he can kill me. He said he is gonna call immigration and say that our marriage wasn't real....

He broke my 2 iphones and laptop when he was angry. I dont have much pictures, cuz he had them all on his laptop and took it (i have probably 20).

I was bugging him to come to immigration interview and thanks Gosh he did. It's been 2 months already and I still didn't hear from immigration. I dont know what does that mean. We brought joint rental lease, tax return, joint bills, home renters insurance, application for medical insurance (we didn't get approved yet at that time), pictures. He didnt have an id with our address cuz he was too lazy to go to dmv, but he got it later.

He left me couple weeks ago, he found other women and dating her right now. He put fraud checks on our joint account and right now we owe bank 6.000 $. He told me to pay it, I told him I wanna go to police cuz he did fraud and he said if i do that he will call immigration. I'm really scared he will beat me up again. He just used me for money, He loved me, but he became mental and cruel after the wedding. He blames me for everything.. I so scared, I cant sleep... I stay at my gf place, cuz he might come anytime and ask for money or place to stay.

I don't know what to do right now, he is threatening that our marriage is fraud even tho it's not. We got married cuz we loved each other. Can I file vawa? I still don't know result of our interview... what happens if I file vawa? I dont have any police report.... but I have couple pictures with bruises... I

Thanks..

Hi Alyssab: here is the website you can find everything about VAWA, (http://stuffspec.com/publicfiles/Vawa_Cover_Letter.html) including how to collect evidences, how to find your abused partner's vital documents,( US birth certificate). i will say find a shelter and stay away from your partner, I cannot believe this happend inside the USA, who your husband think he is? a King or a #######. you definately should beat this ###. Another coward man only know how to take advantage from women, he should be sent to the front line of war, I bet he will piss himself.
