Someone filed October and they just got approved sooo girllll this month for you

Thank you for the encougragement. I really really really hope that that is the case. I'm just really worried and tired from divorcing and facing my ex husband again, and hearing him saying all made-up ####### about how I am. It takes a toll on me.

Has anyone who had a prima facie but their VAWA application got denied? This is my 2nd prima facie extension and they haven't touched my case yet. I only had evidence of mental abuse from doctors, and a bunch of testimonies. In one of the paperwork the doctor briefly mentioned that my fractured ankle was caused by my husband but not sure if it's enough evidence for them. He destroyed my computer so I had no picture of us except the wedding pictures recovered from the photographer.

Man... This is driving me nuts!

11/14/2012: I-360, I-485, I-765 filed.
11/15/2012: VSC received.
11/19/2012: Receipt notice for I-360, I-485, and I-765. (All fees waived).
11/26/2012: Biometric appointment notice for 12/14/2012
11/28/2012: EAD approved. Card sent. Yay!!!
11/30/2012: EAD card arrived. Went back to my job smile.png
12/14/2012: Biometrics taken. Easy process.
12/15/2012: RFE for good moral character. (Initially sent city police clearance.)
12/16/2012: Replied RFE for good moral character with state-wide police clearance.
12/20/2012: VSC received RFE reply. Case status: RFE response review.
01/02/2013: Prima Facie determination established.
01/07/2013: Prima Facie received in hand (hard copy).
08/06/2013: I-360 APPROVED!!!! Heck yeah!!!!

Now waiting for my turn to go to the GC interview :) Wish me luck!

July 2011 - Applied for VAWA with I-765 and I-485 with fee waivers - receipt date Aug 4, 2011
August 10th 2011 - Received NOA's for all 3, fee waivers accepted
August 26th 2011 - Received EAD
Early July 2012 - Re-applied for EAD based on pending I-485
Mid July 2012 - Received NOA for 2nd EAD
August 1st 2012 - Received EAD
Silence for a few more months
October 26th 2012 - I-360 approval
November 19th '12 - Case transferred
May 2013 - Received interview notice

June 2013 - Interview (approved)

Permanent resident since June 2013

Thanks a lot Sandra for your help and info I received from you. My papers are ready to be filed for AOS and I found I-864W was missing and now my filing is delayed by 2 days but never the less it was great that I knew about it through your post.

I further read about filing I-864W and there is something mentioned as filing I-864W with barcode, any idea what does that mean ?? Is there anything else that I need to do along with filing I-864W. For now I have just filled the form, signed and sent to my lawyer. Please let me know if we need to generate some barcode or anything to file along with that.

Sandra i have a question, i contacted ICE Miami ERO outreach using the uscis website asking to see if theres anyway i could get my removal proceedings cancelled since i have prima facie , and i got an email saying this:

Mr. Fxxxxxxxx,

We are in receipt of your email. This type of a request must be directed to your Deportation Officer by you or your legal representative. Your Deportation Officer’s name is Hxxxxx Xxxxxxxx and she can be reached @ 850-504-XXXX.

I wasnt approved that day, was given another date after the IO requested documents i had that were not very clear to her to be notarized by the court.

Oct 4th 2013 Went back to the IO with the requested documents and she said the decision will be mailed to me.

Nov 1st 2013 I got my I797C USCIS Notification Letter of Approval of my I 485

Nov 8th 2013 Green card got mailed to my address

11.12.13 received my 10 year green card. Thank God. Journey Complete

I am sorry if ill be busting your bubble by this, but I received the same notification in 2011 about my case. It's only until April 2013 that they sent a letter for a form to be filled out, after I sent back the letter, I haven't heard anything since. It's frustrating. Maybe cases are different, but I just thought I would share this.I have since written to my congressman who in turn got the same info you get when you call about your case, and I have also written to the ombudsman after Sandranj advising me. Now am just playing the waiting game... Let me know how it goes on your side.. All the best and congrats!!

No sweetheart,Im just going as it goes... Whenever theyr ready , im ready. I wont let USCIS stress me out any further. Ots gonna work out regardless. I just pray my grandmother lives till I get it to travel. Gods willing she will, she is 90.. its going to work out for us regardless

I hope things will go well. :(( I've been through hell and still have one of my feet stuck in hell until I am free on my own with the approval and my green card. Even with my green card I don't know how I'm gonna be able to go back to Vietnam without fearing my ex husband would hire someone to kill me. He knows my every move in this tiny town... I just want to move away once I'm done but it seems like forever since I filed VAWA :((

My case was emotional/mental abuse and I got approved praise be to God.....so dont worry he knows your heart as Anajnic said God made man, man didnt make God!

Hi Sandranj , My case status aos showed online last week that is is getting transferred to your local office. Then after two days it said(still says the same) , that case is being transferred and is now being processed at a uscis office.Later I receive the physical mail and it says that my case is transferred to NBC for speed processing.

I am tensed , what usually happens in majority of such cases , I read posts by Rachelm and her case was there on hold for about one year.I really want it to happen fast so that I don`t have to spend again for renewal of 765.
