Because i operated from a platform of fear for too long whilst living with him. He is involved im assuming because I dont see him at all. his daughter calls and I dont answer her either. I cut all ties. If i feel threatened i will call the cops in a Newyork minute. I really dont see him , im not involved with anyone have no intentions of so i guess he maybe happy for that. Another reason is i ddnt want to have to change address with USCIS just for the mare fact of how complicated it couldv gotten. Moving costs money and I cannot afford it. I work from home son i stay indoors most of the time till better can be done

Thanks hunnipoo

Just stay safe an call the police any sign of trouble!

The processing time for VAWA has been moving pretty fast. It's at May 7th, 2012 now. I filed at the very beginning of November... 6 more months from the processing date. Crossing my fingers that it would move fast. I'm so sick and tired of the wait. It's the anxiety that kills me. I mean from my own perspective I know how badly abused I was, my lawyer said it was a strong VAWA case, but I have no idea how it's gonna end up. I can't believe they're putting abused people through even more anxiety and fear like this. My husband is contesting the divorce as he always wants to contest everything. The police department in my city knows him so they refused to arrest him even with clear evidence. They kept going in circles about how he's still needed for his job, and how I'm just a jealous wife who discovered him cheating. But the reality is, he's still out there, and he wants my life.

11/14/2012: I-360, I-485, I-765 filed.
11/15/2012: VSC received.
11/19/2012: Receipt notice for I-360, I-485, and I-765. (All fees waived).
11/26/2012: Biometric appointment notice for 12/14/2012
11/28/2012: EAD approved. Card sent. Yay!!!
11/30/2012: EAD card arrived. Went back to my job smile.png
12/14/2012: Biometrics taken. Easy process.
12/15/2012: RFE for good moral character. (Initially sent city police clearance.)
12/16/2012: Replied RFE for good moral character with state-wide police clearance.
12/20/2012: VSC received RFE reply. Case status: RFE response review.
01/02/2013: Prima Facie determination established.
01/07/2013: Prima Facie received in hand (hard copy).
08/06/2013: I-360 APPROVED!!!! Heck yeah!!!!

Now waiting for my turn to go to the GC interview :) Wish me luck!

Thank you everyone. This is my timeline. Please let me know of you guys have any questions or if I forget to include something in the timeline

Receipt date: June 6, 2011

Work permit: sept 26, 2011

RFE received: August 19, 2011

Vawa approved: August 29, 2012

Case transferred to my local office: May 14, 2013

AOS interview date: July 30, 2013

Green card document production: July 31, 2013

The officer was very nice, but she was very strict. She didn't let anything go. I felt that the help of my attorney was crucial. When she asks me a question I wasn't sure about, I look at my attorney and she helped me answer it.

At the end of the interview she said she would issue me a visa and that I should receive my green card in the mail within 10 days.

By the way, I only had to do my biometrics just once. I didn't have to renew anything. I submitted everything at the very beginning and they never asked for renewal.

Just wondering if your status for AOS never showed any update till may 14,2013 .And what about the medical when did you sent it , did they not ask

for medical again too?

I sent the medical at the beginning along with i486, i360, and others. They never asked me for renewal. I read somewhere on the trend that they would ask but didn't. Doors that that mean they can still ask me then even though they'll be sending my green card in the mail? It just doesn't make send. I wonder if anyone has ever gone trough a similar situation....

Hey Sandra

I checked the paperwork that my attorney submit when he file my I-360 and I-485 and he sent the form I-864W and the form G325A with it. Should I wait or sent it again?

Thank you
