faithkeeper ALL green card based in Vawa the alien receives the permanent green card (10 years.) there is no way someone had to renew "a few times", there is no legal base for that at all.

BREAKING NEWS ON VISA AVAILABILITY

F2A: Spouses and Children of Permanent Residents. This category has become “Current” for August, and is expected to remain so for the next several months.

This allows you to file for a green card if you are married to a green card holder, but you are not a permanent resident.
Therefore, from August 1 through August 31, anyone married to a Lawful Permanent Resident can immediately apply for a green card, along with work and travel authorization, as long as you have not violated your immigration status.

Sandra my friend need help, please is you know or anyone here abour this please help me.

In her medical exam register the doctor choose one option and my friend is worried. In the last part of sheet of vaccines there are a few options and the that doctor thoose was: Applicant may be eligible for blanket waiver as indicated above.

Her question is why chose this and not

Vaccine history complete for each vaccine, all requirements met.

she is concerned about that

cielo 14 the doctor choose this option in 3 cases:

If the applicant may be eligible for blanket waiver because vaccinations not medically appropriate;

If the applicant did not have their complete vaccine records then the civil surgeon is indicating that the alien can get it after the examination,

or she has some medical condition and she cannot take the vaccine now,but her case will move forward,She will be fine.

be patient, I wait for 30 months, you can see VSC is reaching their speed limit to nearly 1400 cases per month, their record is processing 10000 cases per year, good luck though, stay blessed.

Good morning All I have a question for Sandra or anyone who ever heard of this. I was speaking to someone an they told me that they have a friend who's spouse aboused her badly. She said she filed for her paperwork without him ( im assuming its VAWA) an she got her green card forna year an she had to renew it a few times before getting the ten year card.

Has anyone ever heard of a one year green card? Is this possible our case as well?

Faithkeeper No news on I-360 yet. Thanks for asking. They changed the processing times to May 7, 2012 that means that they are moving with the cases. When I checked processing time on uscis on my case they changed it from 14 to 13 months. 13 months for me was on July 14. It looks like I'm going to hear from them very soon. I also filed for I-485 and I-765 and received receipts this week. Will update if I hear anything.

Hey Guys

Sorry that I didnt post here for few days, My internet was down and comcast was giving me a hard time to come out and fix it ,saying that the problem was in my computers. i told them that all 5 computers in the house was down and there was no way that all computers was messed up. Anyway finally they come in this morning and I just got online and the first thing i m doing now is posting here.

I didnt read the latest posts yet, but I m sure you guys are wooried and want to know if there is any news with my case, but not yet, I m still waiting on the letter that they mailed out. its been over a week and havent received it yet. I m starting to concern because it never takes that long for me to receive a letter when they sent it. My prima facie is expired already and nothign from VSC so far. The last thing was an email that I received from Ombudsman’s office saying that USCIS had made a decision on my case and if i dont received a letter in 15 days to contact USCIS over the phone. I hope i dont have to call them because they wont give me no info over the phone.

I will keep you guys posted. Congratulations to all the new approvals.

Now the frustation is taking over. I been waiting for 1 week and half for that letter that Ombudsman’s Office said that was send to me by VSC with a decision on my case and so far nothing. I think if they had issued anything it would be here by now, 10 days is more than enought for a letter to come in from VSC to Miami. So i decided to call the VSC as Ombudsman’s Office told me in the email to do if i havent received the letter.

So when I spoke with someone today they told me that they cannot release no information about my case because its a sensitive application BUT he would answer any general question I have. So the only question I need to ask is if they mail anything to me and when... so his answer was , NO we have not mailed you anything and the case is pending with a adjucator.......

I m done with this. Just can't torture myself anymore I have to say that I m about to send a letter cancelling my VAWA and just accept that my life will be like this forever and I will have to follow my wife rules , be abused , probrably get HIV and all others that have out there from her because she uses me for sex when she is high on drugs and dont want me to protect myself, and be whatever she want me to be. Thats the only way I m going to be able to stay around my baby girl and protect her from my wife. I cant think of anything else to do at this moment. It look like they lost my case and everytime i or someone enquire on it , they check and cant find it ont he shelfs or with a adjucator they just find a stupid answer to give. I m almost 9 months over the processing time showing at USCSI website.

USCIS had sent me an email stating a letter was mailed. when I called them they said , they have no record of that, not too long after, like about a day, I receieved the letter.. These people are reading from a screen so dont worry too much because thye wont give any information which is indeed frustrating. Now that you have waitied soo long why would you wanna give up now.You will be approved in the name of Jesus. Its just different for men and that sucks, You have your daughter to think about so hang in there.. Its soon over..Hugss
