Oh Thank a lot CC1988 , but i read somewhere that NBC hold cases more than 6 M, and after 6 m transfer cases to local office , when your case was transferred to NBC ?

my case was transferred to my local office right after the approval, but then it was sent back to NBC because I needed a medical exam and biometrics again. And as of may 31 the online status hasn't been updated so I'm not sure where my case is at.

CC1988 i had almost the same situation my medical exam wasn't done , and NBC received my medical on 07/15/2013 but i still afraid for how long time they will hold my case:(

me too it seems like they take alot longer to do anything with it. I waited a month before they sent a request for my finger prints. Now I'm just waiting again.

It depends on how backlogged your local office is. I would expect to stay there at least a month, maybe two.

Good morning All I have a question for Sandra or anyone who ever heard of this. I was speaking to someone an they told me that they have a friend who's spouse aboused her badly. She said she filed for her paperwork without him ( im assuming its VAWA) an she got her green card forna year an she had to renew it a few times before getting the ten year card.

Has anyone ever heard of a one year green card? Is this possible our case as well?

Guyssss. Go and check visa bulletin. If you are married to an LPR or USC. Youcan file for Greencard starting August 1 st to 31 st. I believe. Check it out. God is faithful

I applied my case in 2010.. I also received the letter saying that my case was transferred to NBC lees summit missouri for further processing that was last year and then this year in april they sent a letter asking me to fill a form I864W, which i did and sent out in april. Up to now still nothing!

Oct 16th 2009 filed for VAWA
Nov 10th 2009 Prima Facie Established for 180 days
Feb 19th 2010 RFE notice received. Response due by may 17th 2010
May 1st 2010 ALL required evidence sent
Dec 09th 2010 I360 APPROVED Yeey!!
Dec 12th 2010 Approval Notice sent (screeeech!!moved and forgot to update my home address!! aiyaiyai)
Apr 12th 2011 Application for action on an approved petition sent
May 2nd 2011 Duplicate approval notice received
Sep 9th 2011 I485 and I765 applications sent
Sep 14th 2011 I797C NOA received
Sep 16th 2011 ASC Biometrics Appointment Notice received
Oct 14th 2011 Biometrics Done

I wasnt approved that day, was given another date after the IO requested documents i had that were not very clear to her to be notarized by the court.

Oct 4th 2013 Went back to the IO with the requested documents and she said the decision will be mailed to me.

Nov 1st 2013 I got my I797C USCIS Notification Letter of Approval of my I 485

Nov 8th 2013 Green card got mailed to my address

11.12.13 received my 10 year green card. Thank God. Journey Complete

Hi guys my letter from USCIS saying my case is transferred to USCIS-NBC, LEE'S SUMMIT, MO.

what does this mean? I leave in different state

why my case is transferred to USCIS- NBC in Missouri?

have your case ever been transferred to this office from USCIS-Vermont SERVICE CENTER to USCIS-NBC , MO?

My case is the same as yours, i got the same letter saying the same thing, and i live in a different state too..
