So Sandra all these forms you submit for your AOS? You can do the medical and send in before they request it? My lawyer said I dont have to fill out any paperwork for my son or have him do the medical is that correct? You know I second guess every thing he says lol

Now i m very nervous about what this letter will bring. I hope it comes in fast so i can breath.

I m now on mediciation, I went to my doctor and he prescribed me some medication for depression and anxiety.

Keep faith Panama-guy your approval is coming soon! Im so glad they are working on your case now!

faithkeeper because your son is under 21 years old you just have to include his names as derivative in your form AOS, but the medical examination is required for the self petitioning and derivatives,it means your son needs to have the medical examination done as well. The doctor will filed form I-693 for you and I-693 supplement for your child.Children under 14 years old don't need ex ray report and serology.YOU MUST submit form I-693 along with form I-485 otherwise they will send you an RFE asking the I-693.

I just saw one case here in the VJ that the girlsubmitted her AOS without form I-693 , and she had the medical exam done over 1 year ago, but they did not ask her another examination, but it's not common at all ok.

Cielo it's unbeliavable that your lawyer forgot to send the fee waiver. You said is her first Vawa case, but she needs at least to study a bit about how it works Vawa case. I am concern what she can do regarding your AOS.

Sandra I can send a waiver for mi AOS, if I send too a waiver for my EAD. Because i am thinking that maybe my lawyer think that i need to pay for my AOS. I need explain to my lawyer that we can send a waiver for AOS too, she is confused about this, do you have a link or document that I can send to her for that she can understand.

In the form I-912 is asking how many petition are being submitted with the application you just have to mention I-485 and I-765.

ask her to read about Uscis fee waiver

"Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status. A fee waiver is only available if you are applying for lawful permanent resident status based on

a....

b...

c-approved status as a battered or abused spouse, child, or parent of a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent reside

http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-912instr.pdf

d...

e...

f...

In your form I-485 what category did you choose for eligibility? there are from 'a" to "h" , did you choose option 'h" and wrote" I-360 approved-PD current"???.

Hello VJ family,

I need your help as i have no idea what to do next. It has been since April since my vawa case was last touched.

Since then every effort to try and contact uscis for an update on why its taking so long, has been unsuccesful. i have tried to write to my congressman who in turn just got a reply that my case is still in review, i have tried calling but they wont give out any info over the phone, i booked an infopass appointment twice and both times refused any information, claiming the same thing they tell me over the phone. you would think that by me showing up with my proper identification would be even better than writing, but they refused. I was advised to write to them which i did. A reply came with the same thing my congressman was told, that my case is still under review.

am so frustrated! what are they still reviewing after all this time? I got a letter asking me to complete and fill out a I 864 W to complete I485. what is this form for? and does anyone have any advice that could help in my situation? thank you all in advance

Rachel
