So after I sent in my medical exam now they are requesting biometrics for the second time. Anyone had to do biometrics twice during the whole process.?

Oh myyy, guess theyll be sending me for one too, August is 15 months since mines providing i get interview before

Anybody knows why we have to do biometrics again? Do they going to check us again?

I applied for vawa in June 2011. I did my biometrics at the very beginning. My interview's gonna be on the 30 th of this month and they never ask me to do them again. I only had to do them once:)

You cannot be approved without valid biometrics. You will be asked to do them again, either at the interview or after it, before you can receive your green card.

Just did my biometrics again (2nd time) 2 months after my vawa approval. They make you do them again every 15 months.

I have to ask something here please do not contact me to help if you are concern about your abuser reputation.I receive hundreds of emails per month and those women and men are willing to do what it takes to get out of the abusive relationship including filing police report and restraining order against the abuser. I get upset after reading emails with 5,6pages and the person asks me " i dont want to do anything against him because he my lose his job" or " I dont want they arrest him",well I am an advocate for victims of domestic violence i don't give a damn about the abuser reputation or if he will lose his job etc...It's not your fault the abuse inflicted upon you, but it's your responsability to remove yourself from a poison relationship and keep you and your children safe.I am not willing to help anyone who is concern about the well being of their abusers...hell no! Abusers are the scum of our society.

Hello everyone.

I been off the forum for a while. Just want to drop by and say hi to everyone . My case still the same almost 20 months and nothing.

I just called the customer service to see if they can give me an update on my change of address that was sent a request in writing ,notorized and certified mail requesting to change the address and remove my attorney from file because i no longer have her representing me. But nothing no answer and the custumer service laid said that she cant do anything for me because no case comes up with my receipt number. I also sent them a letter 3 weeks asking to renew my prima facie and asking them to please adjucate my case because i need it badly. And no answer neather, i ask for help from Ombudsman's office more than a month ago and they said that they enquired on my case and will let me know when they receive a response,but no answer ...... Now my prima facie is EXPIRED and i cant get a response from VERMONT , i already asked for help in the last 7 months from 2 senators, 2 congress representative and my attorney also called when she was still on my case ,and they all come with the same answer USCIS TOLD ME THAT YOUR CASE IS BEEN ADJUCATED BY AN OFFICE AT THIS MOMENT AND THEY SHOULD MAKE A DECISON VERY SOON. That was 7 months ago. And my case dont show up online neither , when i input my case number at the uscis website case status it come back saying YOUR CASE CANNOT BE FOUJD AT THIS TIME. Anyone have any sujestion?

Sandra. What do you think? Keep waiting or its time to make some noice. The problem that i am so weak that i dont even have the strech to make any noise PLEASE HELP with any sugestion that could help me.

Hi faithkeeper thank you for thinking of me and i appreciate you for keeping me in your prayers . Faith in God is what keep us alive and hoping for betters day to come. My life have changed in such a short period of time. With all the bad things that happened to me and keep happening with my abuser trying to make me suffer,know i m facing financial issues as well. Of course i m note hungry and completly broke , but its note efen close to what i used to be. But in the end things will work out i hope and pray for it.

Yes , the congress person forwarded me the email that they send them. the email is bellow.

"Thank you for providing the privacy release signed. The signature has been verified and now your office is authorized to make inquiries on all of his immigration matters.

On December 5, 2011, the Vermont Service Center (VSC) received the Petition for Amerasian, Widow (er) or Special Immigrant (Form I-360), Receipt Number EAC ***********, filed by *********.

The VSC is currently processing I-360 petitions received on or prior to November 6, 2011. This case is currently pending with an officer."

This was about 3 months ago. Before that I had 2 senators enquiring and they come back with the same message but just different date, like they was processing I-360 petitions received on or before certain date.

So my attorney called VSC 2 months ago more or less , and they told her that my case was actually with a office been adjucated. So for what my attorney told me that time, he tought that my case was at the ajucater desk and we would be receiving a answer in a matter of few days. but so far nothing.

and know they just dont reply anymore , everything is going just quiet, no answer from change of address, no answer for renewing of prima facie.

I have one info pass few months ago , and they told me that my case was pending with VSC and they cant do anything about it till it transfered to the local office.

So i Am completly lost and dont know what to do. I m going to find a attorney today to take my case again, I just spoke with my family and they are going to pay for the attorney. So I hope they can get on it and contact VSC to see whats going on.
