Your whole package will be rejected because their policy does not allow any Package containing DVD ,audio to enter in the Uscis offices,it won't pass the security to go to the adjudicator desk.

Once again thank you for the info sandranj,

The audio and video are key evidence of me being abused, how can I pass it on to USCIS without sending a CD and DVD? Any advice or ideas is greatly appreciated.

Blast.but.a great show to your psychologist and she/he will describe what she heard in your psychological evaluation or show to your friends or family and ask them to written down the affidavit stating what they heard, they should sworn in the affidAvit.

Keep in mind most of the States consider illegal to video tape or record someone without their acknowledgement, but it won't interfere in your vawa case tho.

Mental abuse is a pattern of humiliation, degradation, control, coercion, threats, etc, one or a few isolated acts it wont constitute extreme cruelty,as many officer said "it's an unpleasant experience but not abuse", then make sure what you endured is a consistent and continuous pattern of.abuse ,not for example the wife.coming home screaming cause the house is messy and calling you lazy, It must.be acts that changed who you are,you felt walking in egg shells, couldn't enjoy your life when living with her, became vigilant etc.
