Who among you fears the lord and obeys the voice of his servant? let him who walks in darkness and has no light trust in the name of the lord and rely on his God.

emonezama i recommend at least 5/'6 sessions because i saw several people that got RFE and vawa unit asked how many sessions, duration of each session, treatment recommended, treatment accomplished, progress of the therapy . It means is very important to have a few sessions, I have people that i submitted vawa 8months ago and they are still doing therapy.I would not submit a psychological evaluation with just one or two sessions of therapy at all.I recommend minimum five. The psychologist can perform a psychological evaluation after 2 hours of session for sure, but for immigration purposes what matters is the evaluation and the treatment that the alien is doing to overcome the abuse( vawa based in mental abuse).

I found psychologiest who does evaluation for immigration. But he does not preform the therapy with the clients that he evaluate.

Yet he require at least 5-6 hours of sessions to do evaluation with him.

We are going through work with shelter consulars, we had 7 sessions with them.

Is it bad? Do I need to find the doctor that will do evaluation (with test) and agree to work with us?

Jessy L if you are doing counseling then submit a letter from the counselor stating how many sessions you attended, duration of each session, points of discussion, and then get the evaluation done with the psychologist. In your case because you have counseling then just one session with the psychologist is fine.

Hi guys,

I have good news: my I-360 just got approved thank GOD.

Thank you for all the wonderful and supportive people here, especially Sandranj and Anajnic.

I have a question dear Sandranj, I have n I-693 with a medical exam done in 2010, so I probably need a new one. Do you know if I have to redo all these immunizations? I don't have much money to redo them...

Also can I file for I-485 first and then do the medical exam later, or do I need to submit both forms I-485 and I-693 at the same time?

Thank you.

bambi5 Congrats! Praise the Lord.

Why are you going to submit a new I-485 if you have one pending? you said you submitted a medical exam in 2010 it means you filed form I-485 before then your I-485 is pending.Do not submit a new one, they will send you an RFE to submit a new medical exam,I saw some cases despite the medical was not valid anymore they did not ask a new one.If you had some immunizations done then probably the immunizations are valid as well but the doctor for sure will ask you to do some test.
