OOPS!! The adjudicator asked me about my 2 first names and why I have 2 first names.. Thank God it was listed as 2 first names on my Birthpaper instead of first and middle.I say this because I use one of my names more than the other and with my I360 and AOS it was listed as One name . With i765 it was listed with the other name. nevertheless .I explained to him why ( my mother gave me a swiss name for a black girl which is the first of the 2 first names). He said ok..and that was that

Congratulations Anajnic,

So happy for you :)

I have some questions for you.

Were you required to bring the last Tax return documents to the interview? and

Did the IMO asked you if you are working and when have you started working?

Thank you

Enjoy your freedom

NO! it was not required and was not asked ,since i am a Vawa self petitioner .As a result form I864W is the affidavit of support form for self petitioner.

He ddnt ask if i was working..He literally took the form and wrote on it and continuous with the interview.Remember, its NOT i864, it is I864W ( thanks Sandranj for clarifying that)

Because approved Vawa does not guarantee approved AOS. If the adjudicator looks and is not convinced of bonafide marriage , he could requests more evidence , hence you should take more evidence. He had my entire file and i still took other stuffs, layed it out before he even asked ,despite the fact he ddnt ask me. You have to take the stuffs with you for interview and then some.Like jointtax returns, bills in both names ,joint bank accounts, proof of you guys living together >lease, pictures , letters or emails back and forth.

Fancy if you have charity from the hospital this is not considered public benefit, once.charity is provided by the State program, not Federal program, but Medicaid is considered public assistance, but those with prima facie are entitled to use public assistance, but once vawa is approved the alien should stop using . Public benefits used for your children there is no problem ok.

If you remarried before vawa approval your Aos will be denied,,if you remarriedafter vawa approval there is a big chance of denial too.If they don't ask and you don't tell they will approve your AOS,but once you applied for naturalization then you will be screwed,if you.got marriage and never disclosed with Uscis before getting the GC.

Choiskoph I remember reviewing your case.Glory to God.Just to finish the year with some numbers, between 2012 and 2013 I drafted and reviewed 186 vawa cases(visa journey members) 33 cases of l751 waiver based in extreme cruelty, and answered 43 RFE.ALL cases from 2012 were approved, some 2013 vawa cases were approved and some cases are still pending. The cases I started I didn't get any RFE.I never charged one single dollar for any case.SOme cases they were from visa journey members friends as well.I draft or review the cases at night, weekends, when flying etc. It's overwhelming sometimes to be honest.I don't have time to myself anymore, but I know I am doing what GOd told me to do,to help those in need. I made great friends here,I talk to some of them every single day.I was the bridesmaid of 3 girls that I helped here, they got married after getting the green card.I attended 5 more weddings and I became the God mother of two little boys. All visa journey members.Sorry I am using my phone and probably misspelled some words.

Hi Sandra,

I don't really post much on here but I've read a lot of cases in the background. I want to just say thank you on behalf of everyone. You are really something special. Gave a cynical, misanthropic person such as myself hope that other good people really do exist. The patience you displayed on here is really amazing especially given the breath of questions that are being asked of you on a daily basis and the time you sacrifice answering them. Again, thank you. I hope one day we get to return the favor. Take care.

Sir charge thanks for you kind words. Winston Churchill said "WE make living by what we get.We make life by what we give". I believe in fairness and justice, and because of that I use my skills to help those in need. There is no peace and joy for me until there is no peace and joy to my sisters&brothers.

Sandra,

Is financial aid considered as public assistance? Would using public assistance (in my case financial aid) affect our I-485 decision?

My fellow VJ victims, i just wanted to share my good news. After much exhaust, frustration and inquiries, i am happy to report that my case has been approved.

I am so overwhelmed with emotions right now, i can hardly see the keys on my keypad.

A very big thank you to Sandra. You have ben nothing short of instrumental throughout my journey.

I will now wait for my interview date. I know that an approved i360 does not guarantee an approved i485 but i will continue to be hopeful and leave the rest to God. As long as I receive a successful response on my EAD renewal, i will be patient.

Anjanaic, congratulations on ur big approval my dear. I hope to meet many of you on Feb 01 in the city.
