I GOT GREENCARD!!!!! Today was my interview..GLORY TO GOD

I was impeccably dressed number one and was interviewd by a man with a French accent. When I entered the room, he told me sit,asked for my passport ,birth paper.Then asked for my husbands birth paper.. I handed him. Then he said how come your visa not in your passport. I said its a new passport but here is the I94.. He took them.Then he asked for marriage certificate.I gave that.Then he asked for My original divorce decree and wanted to know if i had a copy.I said no, so he went and made copy.Asked for my EAD card, took it.Asked if i ever was arrested ,i said "where here" he said "anywhere" I said in my country 20 years ago , i was not incarcerated but spent 2 nights because it was a holiday weekend , they let out out the monday.we did not have to go to court nor was there any jail time.. He said OK.HE THEN ASKED, ARE YOU DIC=VORCE FROM YOUR HUSBAND I SAID NO,how long have you been separated , i said sept 2011. He asked if i have ever been on public assistance , i said no. then he read of questions from the i485 and i answered accordingly.Then he left the room, copied what i ddnt have copy off,came back sat down.. I said where are you from, France? he said no the USA trying to be funny i guess. Then he said.."THATS IT YOU WILL HAVE GREENCARD IN THE MAIL IN 14 DAYS" I said " can i hug you" he said "no I'm married' but jokingly. I SAID its a thank you hug, i like to hug. Then I stretched my arms and hugged him and said

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. He was impressed with me, my attire which was knee high boots flat, black blazer , tank top, black pants, stub earrings and hanging chain around my neck.

When i entered i layed all my documents out and what he couldn't find he asked for. He took my medicals and opened it and NEVER SAID I NEEDED TO REDO BIOMETRICS…

My local office is working on april 2013 and I am august 2013 i do not if uscis really work in this date what do you think you office was working in your date when they conctat you for you interview.

If i were you i wouldn't be bothered with the office processing time, because its not necessarily on par as stipulated. So many folks got Greencard with a shorter time than the processing time. I never bothered with it. My not being divorce is not or rather was not a problem,I told him i was not mentally ready before but hopefully soon.He was fine with that

GOD gave me peace, i wasn't really nervous.. I was okkk.Ask all you want.i just believe that when folks go through the interview they need to return and give in-depth info as to how it was. so others know what to expect

God is great indeed, he did feel my confidence, I wasn't stuttering , my voice was not soft.Straight answer to the point. the beat thing i did was laid all the docs they requested in the interview letter on the desk so he couldv picked it up..He took up the i864w and al that was there.. I'm soo glad its over.I was ready for anything to tell you the truth

One thing I'm worried that I don't have my husband birth certificate, and it is not mentioned on my interview letter (was it required on your letter). I have no idea how I can find it right now. What was the questions they asked from I-485? I didn't fill the forms myself so I have no idea what on there, but hopefully I can learn from you.

Also, just print up an i485 form and look at the questions, have been arrested, were you engage in prostituion, did you help anyone get here illegally, just stuffs,I can't remember all, also have you ever engaged in terroristic activity.. its listed on the i485, familiarize yourself with ti
