Hi everybody,

Why some people have their cases after VAWA approval from Vermont center go direct to their local offices so they can have interview for green card very quickly and others their cases go first to NBC where it stay there for no reason for months?Does this mean that we did something wrong in our application?if for background checks ,already Vermont center did this many times while approval of VAWA and also before issuing our EAC based on green card application? How we can fix that?I am so tired.

Thanks.

Some local offices are busier than others. Cities with large immigrant populations, such as San Francisco and New York, tend to be more heavily backlogged than others.

fancy 1 a few days ago I explained here why Vermont sometimes sends the cases directly to the local office and sometimes to the NBC.

You have explained this zoo many times in the last month, I can't even check. Even when the question changes up still meaning the same thing

Hello Fancy1,

Sandranj and Anajnic is saying right.

But I know you are worried , I am in the same boat too , my case was transferred to nbc in july 2013 and nothing is heard since that time. I have tried calling them but they can`t tell anything.Lets hope for the best.

I just hope that our cases are considered same like people who get theirs processed early.
