Thanks for the clarification. I can't imagine this really is a mistake. It's so weird.

About 2 weeks after I had sent my I-485 file to Vermont (after approval of my I-360), my online status said that my file had been transferred to the LOCAL OFFICE. A week or so later I received a letter (regular mail) that my file was transferred from Vermont to the NBC. The last time it was updated at the NBC was more than a month ago (that's what my USCIS account says). It's all confusing.

No, I didnt. I directly went for appointment. Maybe thats the mistake I did and I should have done e-request first but not sure what it is.

The email clearly states that it is transferred to Local office but in reality it looks like its still with NBC sad.png.

Olyasya now just relax, because inner peace is impossible to achieve without patience. Maybe many things sound bitter now, but believe its fruit is sweet, and in a few months you will post here " I can't believe my I-360 was approved today". Hang in there sis.

Big day. Mail out my doc. Now all I can do is prey.

Don't worry. Just pray. I may not know how long you will have to wait but I know that with prayers and faith in God, just like sandranj said, you will post a positive comment here about your approval. All the best.:)

It is very weird how Uscis transfer cases I too got mail the first week of October saying my case was transfered to NBC. Then a week after that got another update saying it was transfered to local office that same week I had an info pass appointment for change of address. When I talked to the officer he did fix change of address because it was a Uscis error but when I asked him about interveiw am he looked up my case he said that it wa still at NBC which is weird. I told him about the update but he said it was still at NBC It will take anywhere fr 6-9 months from the time I filed i485 I didn't file everything together. This is becoming so annoying. Good luck guys!!

6-9 months? This is nuts. They don't do anything with these applications at the NBC. Mine hasn't been updated for more than a month, it's just sitting there.

This is from the NBC - American Immigration Lawyers' Association (AILA) Meeting on May 10, 2013:

"If any required initial evidence is missing, we will send an RFE and give the applicant 87 days to respond. The review for missing initial evidence and the RFE, if necessary, is completed within the first ten days of receipt of the case at NBC.

Once all required initial evidence is present and fingerprint results are received, NBC will ship the case to the field for manual interview scheduling. These cases are manually scheduled by the field because of the sensitive nature of these cases. NBC has no control over scheduling interviews or completing adjudication.

On average, if a case does not require an RFE and fingerprints are valid, the application is shipped to the Field Office in less than 30 days."
