so my VAWA was approved in July.

went to my AOS interview the last week of October. The longest 1.5 hours of my life. Great thing my lawyer was with me.

they did not require me to have Biometrics and medicaL taken again, even if mine were taken in May 2012.

green card delivered on November 14!

best Christmas gift!!! Sandranj, you are God-sent to all of us. I wish i could do what you have done to so many here.

Do not lose hope. God answers our prayers.

Choiskoph,

Can anyone please answer this ? I am asking this twice.Thank you All!

I called USCIS for my aos update ,the lady over the phone said she was an immigration officer and in no case they give out information for aos case based on vawa. The only way is to have an attorney call and send a written letter" Does asking them speeds up the process?

And also I never had finger prints done except for my earlier marriage based 130 but my spouse later withdrew the case.now the wait for aos after transfer is about 5 months.

godsgreat asking may no speed your process, but they will look the alien file for sure, and they may think" she is waiting xxx months" and then adjudicate the case.In your case because your vawa was adjudicated then do not send a letter to inquire, set up an appointment with INFOPASS to find out what's going on in your case,if they say your case is with the local office ask to speak with the officer handling your case and tell him/her about the delay

bestgirlever most adjudicators don't ask about bonafide marriage, just ask original documents and that is it, done, but some of them may ask questions for 1hour or more. To prove bonafide marriage take with everything you have in your name and in his name( showing commingling finances)and some pictures as well.
