Marlou if your case is with the local office it means they will schedule your interview. Wait 45 days maximumand if you don't hear anything then set up infopass appointment to find out what's going on .Do you live in NYC or NJ? I will be in NYC with some girls from visa journey

Hi Ms. Sandra, please how do I determine where my case is. The update did not mention any particular office. Thank you for your constant help. Thank you.

Initial Review

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

The paper notification will give the address of the office it's been transferred to.

You can also call USCIS at 1-800-375-5283 and ask to speak to a tier 2 representative (real USCIS officers). They will be able to tell you exactly which office your I-485 has been transferred to.
