bestgirlever USCIS did not forget citragirl, she filed form I-765 with wrong category, as soon they received form I-765 filed with the right category they ordered EAD production.

Oh ok sounds reasonable enough.thanks-for clearing that up

People are too much in this forum. Changing their names , messaging you and others to get info. going back and forth discussing and gossiping about other members to other members when the only focus should be VAWA and approvals. If you need to ask me anything DO NOT INBOX AT ALLLL. I am transparent and as a result correspond with me here. As a matter of fact I am hoping admin sees this and DELETES my account. I have been t dying to delete this account and have been unsuccessful

Last but not least. AN APPROVED VAWA IS NOT A GREEN CARD nor isn it a guarantee of one

sorry it took long to answer. they asked me questions:

when did we meet? when did we decide to get married? asked about the wedding. just regular basics about my marriage. they are pretty straight forward, they wouldnt ask you any trick questions to get you to speak about the abuse, and if they do, simply and respectfully tell them you cannot speak about the abuse..

Apr 12th 2011 Application for action on an approved petition sent
May 2nd 2011 Duplicate approval notice received
Sep 9th 2011 I485 and I765 applications sent
Sep 14th 2011 I797C NOA received
Sep 16th 2011 ASC Biometrics Appointment Notice received

waiting.....the whole year of 2012 passes by without a word!!

Apr 17th 2013 I get a letter asking for a I 864W form to complete I485 processing and its orange in colour

Sep 10th 2013 I 485 Interview

I wasnt approved that day, was given another date after the IO requested documents i had that were not very clear to her to be notarized by the court.

Oct 4th 2013 Went back to the IO with the requested documents and she said the decision will be mailed to me.

Nov 1st 2013 I got my I797C USCIS Notification Letter of Approval of my I 485

Nov 8th 2013 Green card got mailed to my address

11.12.13 received my 10 year green card. Thank God. Journey Complete

i have read with interest how questions are being asked over and over again when they have been answered clearly and in details by sandranj. lol people changing names and pretending to be he shes, lol this has become a vawa soap opera indeed..most of the information is here, if people only took the time to read through...smh

Hello everyone, for all who have been approved I say a big congratulations and for all who is still waiting I say keep the faith, this too shall pass... I started my journey on December 12, 2012, not knowing what to expect n how long it would take. I had a lawyer but I still felt like I was on my own. I joined this site and I got some really good advice:) for which I will be eternally grateful. I got my EAD approved last week n I got my interview date today. I am happy, extremely happy. I have never thought my process would be this quick. I thank god and all the wonderful ppl on this site. Guys it may at times feel like its not gonna happen but it will. Continue trusting god, he will see u through. Best wishes to everyone♥♥♥

Woow british07 that was fast.I started since ending august 2012 they received in september 5 but I'm still here awaiting approval.and you already have ead and interview. This journey seems like forever,saddest phase of my life but it will pass.my lawyer is crappy too so I'm basically on my own too. Congrats to you and GOODLUCK on your interview. All the best :)

Sandra, can you tell me for how long are good the medical exams? And the fingerprints?

My i 485 was transferd two mounts ago but I did fingerprints and medical exam October 2012. So it's been more that a year...
