That confirms what I suspected. He/she was asking about how to rush naturaliztion so they could bring a family member (now know to be a spouse) to the US. All the posts make you question the validity of the VAWA claim.

I was told that I if I needed to change information I had to send supportive documentation to uscis office. In this case Vermont. Also that fees had been waived so I didn't need to send waiver again. So I sent cover letter, based on a letter Sandra posted here. I sent form i765 with correct category c 9. I however marked yes where it asks if I have ever applied for ead.

I sent recent email about update on i485, confirmation email for change of address. Copy of first receipt for i765

I hope I did it good enough for them to forgive my mistake. I stated on cover letter that I misunderstood the codes and wrote a wrong category.

I sent the mail overnight so I hope things go well and that I receive good news soon. Keep me in your prayers please :)

bestgirl ever it's very the situation regarding the woman, her son and her brother murdered by her husband .On September 12, 2012, a 24-HOUR CENSUS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE showed across the United States 64,324 adults IN JUST ONE DAY were victims of domestic violence, 35,323 domestic violence victims found refuge in emergency shelters, 4 women were murdered, the hotline calls received 20,119 in that day, 14 calls per minute.

Let me tell you something there are victims and volunteers. Victims take the steps to get out of the relationship or at least try to get out, volunteers get out of the relationship and after months, sometimes years just decide to go back to the same environment they had before, they endanger their lives and their children's lives just because of some bs apologies and promises of the abuser. As everyone knows I have zero sympathy for abusers. I place them in the same category I place pedhofilos and rapists. To abuse someone is a choice whether it is conscious or not, the circumstances didn't make the abusers to abuse the victims , it was her/his choice. It's about power and control.

Many people told me God talks about forgiveness then why can I forgive him/her? of course you can forgive, forgive and remove/delete the person out of your life, cut the "toxins" out of your environment, forgiveness doesn't always mean reconciliation.

I have reading your posts and admire your passion and your help for all people especially domestic violence victims .I got my VAWA approved(abused bu US citizen) and I have a question regarding one of your posts. You mentioned original divorce decree for AOS.I had only copy from the judge in the court that divorce took place from my abuser spouse. Is this enough or divorce decree means something else?

After VAWA approval can I reopen my old I-485(with my abuse) which was denied? They sent me denial without giving me any reason and without any opportunity to appeal this decision which I think it is not fair.

You cannot reopen the old I-485 as you are no longer married/in a relationship with this person. You cannot adjust status based upon a relationship that no longer exist.
