My Dears,

To all who shared my struggles through my journey from the beginning to the end...to all those who calmed my nerves and prayed for me through my trials and tribulations. to all those who lent a hand and offered a shoulder when i coudlnt take it anymore...to all those who stood by me...My God will continue to bless you and those around you.

I finally got my Green Card!!!

Thank you everyone who encouraged me to never give up I wont mention names, but these saints know who they are smile.png. I have my own little family here.

To every one else who is still in the journey.. I have this to say.

I have cried endless tears, i have fought so many legal battles.. with tooth and nail. i spent endless nights wondering if this nightmare will ever end. My mother, my soul and comfort who kept my head up, passed away and i couldnt be there. I have seen the worst days through this journey, but i held on to my faith, and i hit my knees every night with prayer. thats the only weapon i needed and last week an email i received from USCIS marked the end of my journey. I thank God for everything. I am here today because he was there for me.

never give up, never give in, always look up and keep pushing.

God bless you all and lets continue encouraging each other.

Happy for Rachelm ! Congrats !! Now enjoy yr life to the fullest !!! dancin5hr.gif

I saw you'were approved in 3 months. What was the reason to get green after 4 years?

Why that was happened and what you did for it?

Sorry if I missed any of yr post where you explained, but just wondering...

Pure I don't understand why you changed your name and keep asking same questions over and over, sometimes people have to sit and search a bit.It seems you never read about vawa.Your adjustment of status may take 2/6months,your case was just approved then don't go to infopass because they won't help you .Once your vawa was approved you shouldn't apply for public benefits anymore.

Rohy you need to send a notarized letter to Vermont to change your address and they are messy and I saw hundreds of cases that they didn't update,if you submitted 485 then you have to fill out online form AR 11,and send a letter to NBC as well.To VErmont use your vawa case number,to NBC and online use your adjustment of status number.

Optmistichich you have to file form AR11 online and submit a notarized letter to the NBC as well, with your AOS number.

USCIS-NBC

PO Box 648005
Lee’s Summit MO 64002

As I said before to change address with Vermont you have to submit to Vawa UNIT with your I-360 case number.

Just correcting myself, to change the address you have 3 steps:

1)To inform Vawa UNIT-VERMONT-Using I-360 case number, you have to send a notarized letter informing your new adress.

2) If you have a pending I-485 then fill out online use this link

https://egov.uscis.gov/coa/displayCOAForm.do

(using I-485 case number)

3) Submit a letter to the NBC,using I-485 case number.

USCIS-NBC

PO Box 648005
Lee’s Summit MO 64002

DO NOT CHANGE FORM I-360 online, despite is listed there but it's not for vawa filers, because form I-360 is used by religious workers and widow as well.

Sandra, what I my Vawa was approved a year ago? Do I still need to send change of address to VAWA unit?

Yes you need to as far as I understood even though your case was transfered to NBC Vermont is still " in charge of it" NBC is just helping Vermont out because of work load I could be wrong but that's my understanding. But also send NBC a letter for change if address on i485.hopefully Sandranj can clarify
