Hi sandra or anybody who can help.l applied my vawa in october 2011,my lawyer told me not to apply for my AOS,l,m really desperate now bcos l didnt get a decision yet even after sending my rfe back beginning of may.its almost two months now since rfe...my question iscan l still apply for my aos now without using my lawyer bcos he,s sill going to charge me again.l paid almost $6000 for my vawa now am broke as hell.l have a 3yr old n very desperate.l just need a work permit so l can get a better job and a drivers license..i,m so tired of taking buses especially with a child.

Godsgreat23 if you did not submit your medical exam and you will attend AOS interview soon then you have to find a doctor to file out form I-693 and you can find the doctor's list in the Uscis web site.

I had submitted I693 with I130 petition in 2011 which was later withdrawn by my spouse.

So even if they don`t ask I need to submit I 693 pending i 485 aos .My lawyer doesn`t

answer my questions & he hasn`t told me to do this, he said they will let us know when they need it.

Can you suggest me what is the best required thing to do? Take a medical exam I 693 & mail it where ?

My 485 says initial review & I 360 says approval online.If I take a medical exam even before they tell me(do

they tell us that we need or when we need in pending 485), where do I send ,vermont or my future local

office which I dont know is what..?!!!

Did you receive any prima facie yet? In some cases they will just send the approval instead of

prima facie.May be you are very close to your decision. It will be good. God is all .

godisgreat23 i saw some cases the girls had the medical exam expired and USCIS did not ask a new one before the interview. It's up to you to submit now, legally speaking you have to submit before the interview, but you can wait to see if they will ask you or not.

cielo14 if you want you can go alone to attend the interview. It's not a bid deal.You will be fine.

missymd if you want you can submit form I-485 along with form -765 without having a lawyer to represent you, is your husband an US Citizen or LPR? if he is an Us Citizen you can submit any time.

I don`t have the expired copy with me anymore. Is it acceptable to carry a fresh I 693 in hand on the day of interview if they ask for it?

godisgreat23 you don't show your medical exam when you attend AOs interview, you have to submit BEFORE AOS adjudication, but as I said I saw some cases they did not ask a new one, it's up to you if you want to submit now or wait to see if they will ask you or not.

@ Godisgreat. I will execute appilcation and medical next week. I only had gotten request for biometrics excluding medical. After reading the posts from this forum I will get it done now instead of waiting for RFE

Oh missyd I feel your pain my lawyer charged me 4500.00 for me an 2250.00 for my son who is my beneficiary so I understand how hard it is I still ended up paying 5300.00 an that was just for the work permit......I still have to pay 4875.00 when mt AOS comes around!!!
