hi guys i have quick question i been almost 1 month and 10 days without job after my EAD expired and i dont receive the new one and really i have no money to support my self i want to fill for food stamp and am not sure if am eligible for it and if i did it can that affect my AOS ?

i have approval I360

I don't think u can get food stamps after approval abd if you happen to get through u will be considered a public charge. Did u file renewal ead?? Am assuming u did and didn't receive it yet. You should send Vermont a letter inquiring about it. Good luck

Lorphelpme is right, don't apply for foodstamps or you will jeopardize your aos. However,if you have usc children you can apply for them, they can receive public services, just make sure you write down on the application that you are not applying for yourself. My son receives medical coverage food stamps and wic. Believe me I am anxiously waiting for ead too to be able to get out of the system

yes i file renewal ead and i lettr to uscis to explaine to them i have hard fianancial but no answer i call my lawyer he can do nothing about that until i finish the 90 days and realy it hard when you dont have family or some one to support u that not fair after what we going through the uscis still late the aos god will be with us

Daffodils I have many vawa approved in APril and they didn't even set up interview.The only place going fast is Boston.

thank you Sandra, I'm just very anxious. I wish they at least would transfer it to the local office

Sandra , my attorney said that she recieved a a notice that my i485 was transfered to NBC MO , not to my local office? What does that mean?

I think most if not all vawa cases go to NBC for further review if everything is ok they transfer to local office. My case was transfered there and a week later I got another update saying it was transfer to a Uscis office which could only be my local office cause that's the next place it goes from NBC. So hopefully you will be transfered to local office soon. Good luck

Sandra !On the notice said , please contact the Premium Procesing phone number 1800..... for inquiries . The 15 day Premium Procesing clock does not start until correct office recieves the application .

What does that mean?
