On October 18, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application.

you don't have to use your PF if you don't need, they issued in case you need to get some benefits.

Fee waiver it means if you cannot pay USCIS fee then you file a waiver to excuse you to pay the USCIS fees.

It's up to you if you want to file I-485 and I-765, but keep in mind if you have just I-360 filed and your Vawa case is denied they are not removing Vawa filers from the US, but if you have a pending I-485 and your case is denied they will remove you from USA.In order to get a work permit you must file I-765 along with form I-485, and you can submit anytime you want.

Your I-360 was the only thing you filed (along with the request to wave fees form). That form was only to allow you to stay in the country, not be deported, because you're a victim of domestic abuse. They granted this and gave you 180 days to now, file the paperwork for your permanent residency, also known as your green card. You can file that and wait...it can take up to six months or so..

so yeah i didnt able used the PF cause im not approve to it.... maybe i just need to wait till i got a letter from USCIS about I-360 i filed

Thank u sandraj. I will try again.it didn't recognize my PF. Or I shouldn't use my A# used during my previous AOS with my ex? He refused to go for the interview cos I didn't do his wishes anyway so it was denied for not showing up for final interview.

wow chinita the people helping you need to go back to college to learn about Immigration, first of all why did they file fee waiver for you? there is no fee to file form I-360.

As far I understood your I-360 approved was not approved yet, then your I-485 will be adjudicated just after approval of your I-360.You can submit form I-485 but they will not adjudicate until final decision of your I-360.Your I-360 may take 6 months to 1 year to be addjudicated.

You got already a letter from USCIS saying your I-360 was filed, the prima facie that you received proves you vawa was filed.You were not able to receive any benefits because the State you live does not recognize the PF for public benefits,many States recognize the PF.

donohere uscis transfer you case at you local office in you state, before they aprroved you EAD?

hello sandranj i am kinda confuse again this is what they said to me...

Social Services should approve benefits for you. Unfortunately in the rural areas like here, or where you live, the agency doesn't always know they are supposed to be able to offer benefits to you. Sometimes you have to assure them that you're legally here, have a Social Security Number and are eligible under the law. Another good reason to call immigration and get them to explain your rights. Whether or not they give you benefits though, that has nothing to do with you staying in the country. The papers you received that accepted your petition (I-360) are the ones that prove you are legal to stay here for that period of time on the paperwork. If you don't file for your next step...the green card or work visa, before that time period ends, then they can have you leave the country. So please get the paperwork in for your green card as soon as you can.

can u help me so that i can understand what they trying to say... they said that if i dont applied for using 180 days in social services i might deported cause i need that to file for green card or fee waiver i dont understand makes me confuse... they said if i dont used it i wont have any record to immigration to continue my I-360 is that true..

Cielo I know is hard, I am on same boat now, I am getting worried because same way some vawa petitions get approved within months others are taking way too long, I am fearing our ead's will take longer than their time frames :3

Cielo14, citragirl,donehere etc, guys just hang in there, you are not alone.I'm still in the same boat still waiting and just as citragirl mentioned, I'm fearing our ead would not take longer than necessary considering this our long wait. But God will see- all of us through and we will praise him. That's all I can say

Hi guys, I m new to this site, I see how helping you guys have been, May God bless and reward you guys. I, myself in need of some guidance. Married my USC spouse 6 mnths back. Knew each other for two yrs before. I was holding a visit visa. My spouse was going to do a Consular processing. But then he suggested me to come and have a vacation on visit visa and then I was supposeto go back. But unfortunately, it dididn't happen, he emotinally got me to stay here. He used to say its ok even if u get illegal, no one will get you deported. I disliked this idea and eventually he applied from onshore not lettin me go back to my place. Meanwhile, he used to abuse me a lot, make me wrk, not let me go out anywhere, I used to do everythng out of love for him. But later realized, he taking me for granted. Eventually I got pregnant, once I got pregnant I thot he would change himself for good. But no, he came up with another issue, telling me to file for a free gov. Insurance and that too as a single mom, not showing marital status to him. I didliked the idea of his. He used to go like don't you trust me and get mad at me. Eventually he started blackmailing me that if I dun't do what he's asking me to do, he will send me back n get married to someone else, I said ok. But for that also he got mad at me and went worse with his abuse, spitting on my face continuously, covering my head and punching me in the face. Scaring the hell out of me. Later he would come and say sorry and again repeat the same thing again. I got so scared to death, my heartbeat used to race looking at his behaviour, I thot some day if he kills me no one would kno, so I started voice recording, where he used to tranform into a monstor. One day he went crazy and wouldn't stop, being pregnant I couldn't take it anymre n called the cops on him and since the cops saw no scars on my face they left him, and I managed to fled from there for my safety. Next day I went to the cops again & this time made them hear the recordings, they heard them and got him arrested, I applied for an order of ptotection and got it. A hearing is scheduled for it within a week or so. I do have an EAD but, now its all a mess, interview was siupose to b nxt mnth. But with all this nuisance goin on, I dunno wat I m suppose to do soon. EAD will b gone. I have no family here, all alone and ptegnant. Please suggest me what should I do in this situation. Or from here
