I contacted Ombudsman office to get any updates on my case. That's what I received back:

In response to our inquiry, USCIS informed us on 9/18/13 that your case is still actively under review. Unfortunately, USCIS will require more time to complete its review. At this time we are unable to provide a specific time of when a resolution may occur.

We understand that this requires additional patience from you. We will inform you of any action we take or updates on your case. Please also notify us of any changes or progress.

Not helpful at all.

Sandra, do you know who else can i contact to make them finally review my case? It's been 16 months. I had info pass appointments which turned out to be useless. I wrote to VSC. I requested an extension of prima facie a month ago because my current one expired this week and still nothing. I don't seem to get any answers from anyone. I do not understand why some cases take 7 months and I've been waiting for 16 now. It's been very frustrating.

I did. They said that my case is undergoing security clearance and one they get a result, they will adjudicate my case. It was two weeks ago. Not sure how long the clearance takes. But to be honest, it is hard to believe anything at this point because I received so many responses that were not right.

Sandra, I was looking on uscis website procesing time and it said April 9. My receipt date is April 2 but they transfered my application only two weeks ago. Does that mean that they will use the transfer date to proces my application ? Thank you.

faithkeeper it is wasn't second rfe on 07/15 the nbt receive it rfe and was on review , I got just one request medical examination

Ben B you should not follow their timeline straight since we saw people here that submitted VAWA and AOS 16/19 ago and until now those cases are still pending, and we have cases adjudicated in 4/5/6months.

hello everyone i have filed for I-360 MAY 2013 and june got this RFE and send them the good moral character or police record cause that was on the list that they wanted so after send it to immigration i receive this prima facie 180 days so when i applied to social services i wasnt approve i did it two times but still denied so is it going to affect my self petition that i filed.. i just had divorce august 2013 but i was still be able to save a little by helping taking care of other babies from my friend but i dont know if it was allowed or ok to my immigration papers i am worried cause i didnt get to used this 180 days and then still waiting to my I-360 to get to hear from them.. dont know what to do.. am i still ok or what.. should i do? help

I see the following msg in USCIS web site, what does it mean ? Is it good thing ?

" your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I360 "
