Mine took around 20-23 days after they received response to RFE

I got rfe and they recieved it too in october 10,2013

Sahilkundra my case took 16 months but others take much less or more time. I am thankful it already got approved but I anxiously waiting on ead. My local office is loaded I live in an area where usc latinos are majority and there's always somebody to make a petition for so I expect a long wait. I don't really mind the wait for aos interview time passes by I just wish I was able to work asap to cover the needs my child and mine and also to start pursuing a career

Iank In the form I-485 application, box "h" of Part 2 they marked " I-360 Vawa self petitioner"As I said before they may reject your form since you don't have a visa number available.We have here in this thread 1 girl that got EAD before her Vawa case was approved, and 2 others from thread 3.I will ask one of the girls permission to mention her nickname, if she says it's ok then I will post here and you maybe could contact be her through pm.

Cielo 14 you need to have a valid prima facie in order to apply for public benefits.

The PF is a little confusing, I just received my 3rd prima facie(60 days only compared to 180days normal) but all I've been able to do with it renew my DL. I was denied foodstamps, financial assiatance for rent or anything cos 1:I haven't lived in the US for atleast 5years and 2:I don't have a green card. So to me the PF is useless as I can't even afford a car insurance so why do I need a DL renewed for 60days? This whole process is so depressing

bestgirlever If the alien's husband is an US Citizen the alien can file I-485 and I-765 any time before or after vawa approval to get an EAD, but as I said before if the alien husband/wife is a green card holder the alien cannot get work permit before the Vawa approval, but lately many people married to an LPR filed I-765 before Vawa approval and USCIS issued the work permit.

Guyssss. Go and check visa bulletin. If you are married to an LPR or USC. Youcan file for Greencard starting August 1 st to 31 st. I believe. Check it out. God is faithful

Thank you your reply: yes married to a USC. So while I'm waiting for my vawa approval now can I fill out the forms for ead and i485 and mail to uscis?..oh- I wish I came to this forum before now atleast I would avoided an rfe and now a 2nd rfe on the way. Please help me make this frustrating journey a lot easier.all I did was love- that man and he decided to mess my life up after giving up everything back home- to marry him in pure Good faith but God will see-me through..pls do I file the ead and i485 through my lawyer? Uscis website states that another rfe was mailed out to me on oct 09th. Do I wait till I receive it first? #so worried. God bless u for your help

A friend texted me this info a while back and i shared it.It has no bearing as far as i understand on our case, We are Vawa filers , some with approvals. I am seldom on here now and may not be able to respond promptly to any further questions

Wish I knew this! I misunderstood a year ago!

I thought I had to wait to apply for ead, unless I had a previous petition from when was married... Oh well lol

Hi bestgirlever my vawa is still pending for 16 months now, I am married to LPR, I filed I-485 and I-765 concurrently because my priority number became available in August. I filed in July a month before it became available and they accepted my application for adjustment of status and approved my employment authorization.
