What is the best way to bring a brother and a sister under age of 21?

So I am a US citizen, filing paperwork for my parents and their application now is at the NVC office. Was reading online that my parents can bring their children under 21 (my brother and sister) with them here without me applying for them - Should I just list them in their VISA application that they are immigrating with them, is that true?

Thank you.

hi,

no they cannot come with your parents. there are no derivatives in parent's petitions. siblings are filed separately

how old are they?

once they enter the US they can file for their children and it will take over 2 years to immigrate to the US

you can file for them but the wait is over 10 years depending on the country of origin.

the case you mentioned is possible if you filed for married siblings they would immigrate with family. or if a USC parent filed for a married child, they would immigrate with family.

but parents are considered immediate family and there are no derivatives in these types of petitions.

Absolutely wrong.

Only parents (primary beneficiaries) in the Family Preference Categories can bring their unmarried under 21 children (derivative beneficiaries) with them. These people generally wait years to come to the US because of limited visas for them.

Your parents falls into the Immediate Relative categories. No visa limits means they get to come as soon as the paperwork is processed - about a year. NO derivative beneficiaries allowed. Only the petitioned person gets a visa. No exceptions.

How old are your siblings? It could take 2 years or 8 years for your green card parent to petition them.
