Thank you.We didn't do nothing but wait.

Our lawyer sent me this on SEP " There have been some delays with all I-130s. Yours may take longer than you originally expected. Current processing times are listed at 16 months, though I believe in the end it won't take quite that long. In any case, it's not considered "outside normal processing time" at the moment, so we can't do anything to pressure the government to move it along."

Then the end of last month, my lawyer sent this to me. " The government fell behind in processing times for I-130s. It is catching up. Many local offices are reporting that their I-130 backlogs should be cleared out by the end of the month. Posted processing times for the I-130 have fallen from a posted time of 16 months in August to a posted time of 11 months as of today. '' And she thought I would be approved shortly.

She was right.

Good luck to you.

NYC office here as well. Interview at Federal Plaza with spouse was on Nov. 5, 2013. It was a fairly quick and easy interview. The ISO said he would forward a favorable recommendation. Now 3 weeks later, still no update on my case. USCIS website status still says "Testing and Interview" stage. My relatives were impacted by the typhoon in the Philippines (but fairly safe) and we sent a service request to expedite our process so I can go home and help with recovery and rebuilding. But that didn't help anything. Anyone else have any input or experiences on the NYC field office?
